Thanks so much using this video I made a meta ad's GPT to create ad's in different styles and psychological perspectives and attached templates to do my outputs in and additional data. It made a beautiful result. I would recommend actually using an AI chat to code the instructions it really did a good job.

I'd like to have it hosted by OpenAI, and when someone uses it comes from my credit.. but not sure if "API assistant" exposes all features, like the Vision / Ai PDF. Any thoughts on Claude's personal "Projects" versus the new OpenAI Projects? My goal is to create an application where I can drag and drop pdf files of handwritten data, have it OCR the data , perform calculations and finally edit or append the pdf with the results.
Hey, thanks for the comment. Yeah I really want Custom GPTs to be accessed by API, but currently they aren't. It's not a problem so much, as you can essentially have your prompt ready in the same way with data using their API. AS that's their business model then I guess they won't make Custom GPTs API accessible. I was going to test and compare Projects on both apps. I think they are very similar and basically provide better file management. I do need to update my videos to capture this aspect. To create your application I would consider using an automation tool like Make.com to do exactly that. I do it for my clients where I call on that kind of data and use it. I should make a video about also ;)
Hi, good question. The GPTs that we use in their regular interfaces are there to make life easier. They can be monetised by connecting them by API to your other apps. For example, I build automated workflows on Make.com for clients, that have modules that connect to (call on) my ChatGPT account that prompt it to write social media texts, to then combine with images provided by the clients. And on a regular basis the social media posts are uploaded with much less work than we would have done before. You can connect ChatGPT to other types of apps as well. So there are possibilities. The API costs money but really not that much. So a great way to develop new software and tools. I can look at doing a video explaining this more in the future.
