Fantastic tips and insights! The hacks for using Canvas mode and temperature settings are especially practical. Love how you’ve highlighted creative and professional use cases-truly a game-changer for daily productivity. Greetings from Madrid, Spain!
Wow, this video is packed with incredible ChatGPT hacks! 🤯 I seriously never thought about using it in the following ways, and I really appreciate you highlighting them: 1. Exporting Directly to Files: Being able to export content straight to Word, Excel, PDF, or PowerPoint is a game-changer for productivity! 2. Temperature Control: The tip about setting the temperature value directly in the prompt to control creativity vs. accuracy is genius! 3. Memory Export: Exporting memories as a text file is such a smart way to save and reuse valuable context - I'll definitely be using this. 4. Image Quality Enhancement: The simple prompt to sharpen and enhance images is pure magic! 5. PDF Image Extraction: Being able to extract all images from a PDF with a single prompt is a huge time-saver.
I was familiar with the rest through trial and error but i wasn't aware with the AI temperature setting. I changed to setting 2. After a few prompts i found it annoying and reverted back to 1 lol.
Wow, I'm impressed there are a lot of techniques I didn't know before. However, I'm still confusing the difference between memory and customize, because I always use memory to tailor my ChatGPT to respond the way I want. However, I'd really love to go into further detail on how to use the mode in memory and the other techniques. It'd be awesome if you could make videos on each one of them.
Glad it helps! Do you mean memory and custom instruction? memory is more like temporary, it will only get triggered when context is relevant. Custom instructions are more like permanent that you want GPT to follow every time with no exception.
I just launched my private community: community.graceleung.com/, you will get access to all the prompt templates I shared on my channel. Will keep adding resources like courses to it.
Grace you're a rock star - what a super helpful and generous video packed with useful, actionable tips. Do you offer courses specific to applying AI to marketing automation and business operations? Keep up the great work. Cheers, -M
yES AND THOUSAND YES. BUT SPEAK SLOWLY NEXT TIME. Wow Grace, this video is awesome! Dropping some serious knowledge bombs. Thanks for your hard work putting this together!
Hi Grace. I love your videos, I learn a lot. In building custom GPTs, I have uploaded documents but most of the time when I command it to search on them, I find that it does not work this search efficiently. It fails when I command it to search for something specific in the uploaded documents. I ask you: how could this little RAG be optimized?
What kinds of documents and how many of them? And how you prompt it, mind share the exact prompt you use? Sometimes the amount of text, format will also impact the retrieve performance. But without know the details, it's hard to comment.
@graceleungyl For example, I uploaded two documents. Very short and in .txt. One of forbidden words and I put in the prompt that before writing the answers it should check the list and avoid using them. In some outputs it ignores this command. The other is a text document with more than 70 examples of "viral" titles. I tell it to check the list before making the title but GPT ignores this command most of the time. I have asked some people on Reddit and they tell me that to increase efficiency I need to make use of APIs. This would put an extra layer of complexity to the process. What do you think? Is this a problem for all models?
I'm not sure if I understand the "increase efficiency I need to make use of APIs"?, generally I don't think use of API won't solve this issue (but it won't hurt to try), use of API is more about cost effectiveness and flexibility. Actually I found Claude do better for this type of use case and always follow the command (I know it's weird to say this under a ChatGPT video lol). It is more attention to details than ChatGPT in my opinion.
Im a plus user and cant find canvas mode. I also cant find that interactive image editing. Is it not available on Android devices? Please spend a little time explaining how to find these features.
There's a setting under "Data Control" where you can turn off data training, but I suggest the best practice is not to upload any too sensitive data to LLMs in the first place.
Wtf chat GPT didn't understand temp = 2: Could you clarify what you're asking about the temperature being "2"? For example, are you asking about its impact, a formula involving temperature, or something else entirely? Let me know so I can assist you better!
Hey grace please make a video on which is the best FREE ai chat bot app like chatgpt vs perplexity ai vs gemini ai vs microsoft copilot and etc.. Please i request you
Good Alpha, but talk to fast. You teach as if you are in a HURRY. MAYBE you should title video expert level, bc trying to absorb something, you are on to next thing. What’s the hurry? Your efforts are appreciated.

Im a plus user and cant find canvas mode. I also cant find that interactive image editing. Is it not available on Android devices? Please spend a little time explaining how to find these features.
Appreciate the feedback. The Canvas mode is not accessible on mobile device, but for the inpainting tool, you should be able to use it on Android.
Well when I typed „manage memory“ it cleared everything. All gone what it had in the memory. It is bummer! Can I get this back?
What's the exact prompt that you use? Unless you ask it to "clear the memory", it won't gone. Once the memory is cleared, it can't be restored.
I'm pretty sure the temperature can't be changed like that
Before downloading the document, the program will ask for detailed personal information. Why? Best regards Zbigniew Krupa
As far as I know, Chat GPT would use my data to train their LLM (?)
How can we avoid to provide (sensible) data?
There's a setting under "Data Control" where you can turn off data training, but I suggest the best practice is not to upload any too sensitive data to LLMs in the first place.
I love your face 😁
Wtf chat GPT didn't understand temp = 2:
Could you clarify what you're asking about the temperature being "2"? For example, are you asking about its impact, a formula involving temperature, or something else entirely? Let me know so I can assist you better!
What is the exact prompt that you use and how you use? Try [specifying the task], followed by "with temperature = 0/2". It should work
@@graceleungyl I just asked it about a summary of cricket match. The exact prompt was "Temperature 2"
It doesn't work
13:35 Just listen, sorry, but i don't have any pd files to extract images from 😂
Please also do a video of unpaid chat GPT, for us who don't have cash to pay for premium
Wow
Thanks for watching!
how can make chatgpt to stay consistent with a character
Why ChatGPT cant analyze file and generate image like before?
What kind of file to analyze?
@graceleungyl i try to upload the file (pdf file), gpt can't read it like before. It happens in web version
I have plus, but no canvas😮
That's strange... do you see "GPT-4o with canvas"? or you try to ask it to open / edit on Canvas
Hey grace please make a video on which is the best FREE ai chat bot app like chatgpt vs perplexity ai vs gemini ai vs microsoft copilot and etc.. Please i request you
Appreciate the feedback. I have made few videos on some of the chatbots mentioned: ua-cam.com/play/PLgvqWBt14woI0bW-qwMn5ZdHtvRHhENcA.html
@graceleungyl ya i know but i wanted you to make a fresh video which focuses solely and completely on the free versions of the Ai's.
Why chatgpt now blank response? Even pro
Same as mine, it cant analyze doc and generate image
Ah... 😯 it never happen to me
Canvas mode does not work on iPad
It’s not available for mobile device
The free download is useless though, save your email submission people
The info is priceless, but not for ignorance
You are obviously useless thats why you watched the video. Go find a rock to hide under, you useless tool. Adios😂
Great content . But please Speak slowly and enunciate very word
Instead of asking her to speak slower, make an effort to slow down the reading speed, that’s what it’s for, thank you
Had no issues understanding her. You should decrease the playback speed instead of asking her to change how she speaks.
Good Alpha, but talk to fast. You teach as if you are in a HURRY. MAYBE you should title video expert level, bc trying to absorb something, you are on to next thing. What’s the hurry? Your efforts are appreciated.
