I am glad you enjoyed our video and thanks for the feedback. We loved fishing around KI as there are so many fishing spots and if the wind gets up you can change the side of the island you are fishing from. You are making me jealous now saying you are heading over in a few weeks🤣

This is a very informative video, I was one of the firefighters at KI in Jan 2020. I will be going first week of the upcoming July School holidays, This is my first time ever going to KI. for fun, I am basically devouring your videos. Great videos guys.
Well done Linda and Martin. Lot of work to produce such a comprehensive and brilliant video. So many places covered and such good information and tips. One thing I have done is photographed on my phone one of the fishing charts they have on jetties with lengths and limits of fish so I always have it available.
@fishingsister Thanks so much. we just purchased some land there. Waterfront at Nepean Bay. We will head there. Hopefully, over the Christmas holidays. I will be taking a few rods with me.
@fishingsister Thanks so much. Yes it is. I did watch your video on the king george you were catching and also the blue swimmer crab. Might take my kayak with me so I can go out deeper for some squid and bigger king george whiting
Great video thankyou. Even though we live south of Adelaide we have never been to KI but we have booked a trip in JUly this year ( middle of winter I know but its the only time we have off) What kinds of bait did you find worked best especially for mullet?
We used gents. But you cannot get them on the island, you have to take your own with you. Also, you can use bits mullet to catch mullet! Remember to check the wind direction before you leave for fishing and pick the side of the island where the wind is coming off the land. Happy fishing. I went to Kangaroo island once, thought it was the same size as granite island. Ended up just hanging around penneshaw for 3 days 😐
