for those who didn't know - this song "Ordinary Days" was written when we had a great earthquake in 2011, for reconstruction support
Wow this song has an even deeper meaning with that alone. I love what they did with hotel new tokyo too.
I've always loved listening to this song since I bought it on iTunes, but when I realized that Toe made this song to raise money and awareness of the circumstances of the 3/11 victims, I couldn't help but get a little teary-eyed and somber.
That feeling of wanting to go back to those ordinary days, and that beeping guitar sound calling you back to reality... Absolutely breathtaking ;)

yeah i think the bleeping guitar is supposed to mimic the ER vehicle sound. Really haunting.

I think the most obvious and practical explanation is that he doesn't fuck around and he doesn't want to get bruises and whatever else from all his wildin' out on stage every night when they're playing shows on tour
