$250 for what you got is a great deal for sure . As to drip acclimating I haven’t done it in a year 😂 just dip the corals temp and good to go . Fish I just temp and actually put them in by hand I’ve never had an issue.
The reason that the pink color is going away on your rainbow mille is likely due to lighting. The polyps are still open and extending meaning that the coral is healthy but many corals especially acros will change under different lighting. If you possibly have a different spot in your tank with the same flow but deeper blue lighting I would try to move it there. But the coral isn’t unhappy at all it’s just the zooxanthellae changing color due to the lighting.
I have a question, by the way I love your channel, do you filter your water with a device, or do you use something that will filter your water like a chemical or something? I want to start a saltwater aquarium.
I do for about 10-15 mins. Don't drip acclimate at all. If the temperatures are similar between your tank and the bag the frag is in .. I drop it in.... one time. Most times though the temp in the bag increases. I live in the tropics.... So I like to cool down the coral a bit before.

Doing that is the same as drip acclimating cause you’re mixing the water temp acclimating is floating the bag in the water
I stumbled onto your vids lately, you got me wanting to get a salt water tank to add to my already 7 fresh water tanks.
all you need is a saltwater tank my friend ... just cross over to the dark side

Check your trace elements as you may be high in iron.

Do people really still float coral in bags for temp acclimating?

Yeah I temp acclimate a little bit and then dip the corals in coral dip but I don’t drop acclimate
Low Iodine might be causing your pink to fade.
No need to acclimate corals unless it’s shipped
