This is nothing more true. I can’t think of any two industries that are over regulated and under appreciated those these two as well. I must be an idiot because these are the only two things I’d ever want to do for a living
I would really love to see the engine swap progress and maybe a video on the gasket getting resealed! Maintenance on the trucks would be good videos in itself.
Gerald google a company called Kustom Truck. They sell conversion kits for changing out motors. You send them the vin number for the motor that is in the truck and send them the vin number of the motor you want to put in. They will send you all the wiring conversion kit and motor mounts and other parts. They will also need the vin off the truck you want to put the motor in. The company is in Oregon.
Gerald whatever you throw together I’ll watch it. You always seem to come up with some kind of clever idea for a video. You’re just out there trying to make it like the rest of us, but you were sharing yours with us. Just be yourself brother.👍👍👍
Gerald good luck with the new venture brother. At least you ain’t gotta be waiting at that grain facility in line with 30 other trucks. Sounds like a beautiful thing to me. Hope it is to you. Blessings on your new venture brother. You and your family have a great weekend.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I'm happy for you sir and I hope everything works out for you, as long as you are satisfied, that's all what matters, god bless you. Mike from Mississippi.
Glad to see Ya got a local deal !! In & out , up & down , round & round !! Gota get ya rocks off !! Hauled a many a load 2010/2011!! Hopefully alot less stressful for Ya !! Best wishes to You !! enjoyed the video ,Thanks for takin us along !!
Hey Gerald Saturday nite. Just watching the video. Best of luck my friend. I think that will work out for you. You’re a hard working guy. Will keep watching. Even though I enjoyed your hopper work. A lot less dust for sure. Take care enjoy your summer with the family. You deserve it.
Gerald I think that which is just my opinion, showing the operation of the dumping of the trailer and what all goes into it would be a good idea. I pretty much know how they work but most people don’t probably.
AWESOME to see that your stress levels are Way down and your in such a good mood ! and i just figured out why that is, You go to work and Get Your Rocks Off Several times a day and then you get to go home to your family 🤣😂🤣 What more could a man ask for ! I think people tune in not so much for the scenery but for your commentary and your demeanor, You are just a very likeable person. As for content, anything from driving trucks to working on them, or working on those motors or trailers. I think most people would watch you trying to do up your shoelaces 🤣 Take Care Mate and stay away from that stress
Pretty country out there, used to run some organic fertilizer to Clarksdale MS, miss running out there. Definitely get the GoPro with different mounts to put on various positions on the trailer while loading and unloading. Struck gold with those engines! Take care bud
The old Cow Pen Restaurant is now Table 82, have you been there? They used to have the best steaks on the Arkansas side of the river. Doe’s Eat Place in Greenville had the best on the Mississippi side of the river
Yeah the old cow own has been gone for a few years. Great place! Does is great. We have a place in Dumas called “taylor’s” that is fire and “hoots” in mcgehee is a bomb place too
You can change up camera angles. Position the camera in the threshold of the cab and sleeper to show you shifting but can still see the dash and overlook the hood out to the road. How you show getting loaded, you could show dumping. When the time and money comes, upgrade things on the dump trailer such as maybe repaint it black or switch to aluminum wheels to match the truck, adding lights to it. The quarter frame is superior trailer. Able to haul the same as the long ones but fit where dump trucks can. Your in a great market.
Have you thought about a video of how you got into trucking. And maybe some pictures of all the old trucks and trailers you've had. Thanks for the videos.
Gerald. Ouch! Sorry about the toes. That pretty much sucks. You take care of them though brother. I know you can’t do much with them once they’re broke they’re broke.
I'd be interested in any repair vids if you care to do them, especially Cat stuff, can always learn or pick up tips watching the way other guys do stuff. You're keeping it interesting, Flatbed, Conestoga, Hopper and now End dump 😆... Hopefully things will pick up after the election.
Thanks man! I’m probably going to do more cat stuff soon. As far as the election…who knows??? Apparently one side wants to weaponize the judicial system to eliminate any competition. Seems like tyranny to me
A video about the trailer specs weight and what not would be interesting. I sse a lot of framless 40 footers around home delivering cattle feed. Dig what you do sir.
Man I like that. Idk if I have time to hang with my farming buddies to do farming videos but I can definitely do shop stuff! Maybe one day I can do farm videos of my own!
@@thedirtytrucker9633 Wish I had taken more back when I did the sweetcorn harvest runs, peas, carrots, potatoes, soybeans, grain corn, lime from the quarries to the fields, grain to the Mississippi river ports, fertilizer back out, coal and salt out also, corn for ethanol, soybeans to the crush plants, oats to the cereal factory.
Congratulations, driver. Hopefully, you can make enough money to be happy and home every night with the family. And you can show us the end dump division. Thanks, driver, safe travel 👍 🇺🇸✌️
Thanks man! I’m not worried so much about the money. It probably won’t be the same but I’ll make enough to get by and enjoy my summer at home! It’s been so nice so fat
I love my End dump Job, the problem is when I drive 10 hour 700 miles and dump the freaking load in 5 minutes. I get angry because driving hours to dump in 5 minutes LOL
Man I get that! The longest load I’ll do is 150 miles and the shortest is about 50 miles. This is definitely a dump it and get your ass gone type deal.

I would be interested to see the work you are going to do to the motors you got and what exactly your hauling, where its going and what they are using it for.
I was wondering what you can haul w that short trailer? And are you keeping the hopper I hope. But glad to see you spendin more time w your family that’s a great thing. And it’s your 359 but no way I’d change that B model out for that 5 e k. I have a 92 B model in my storage trailer lol. Actually I have the whole truck tore down and put up. W new frame rails. But I don’t have anywhere to put the dang thing back together. But I had a 2004 w a 475 in it and that B model would smoke it on a hill.

That’s right! I need to get me a new GoPro with a magnet mout and put it in the dog house and show the product coming out. I’d love to have a 38-40ft trailer but these place I go don’t allow for it
@@thedirtytrucker9633 better off without them there just more risk for no more reward unless they have the stupid bridge laws we had in Texas 🥵I hauled road jobs and everything in the world around here and have watched them almost go over even drove over a hole in a dam from beavers and right rear duels fell in luckily the load of base which is sticky here in Texas was almost out 🥵we had several lease trucks turn over on road jobs from getting off the crown of the road or crappie grader operators making bad pads 👍nope shorter is better does the same job better 😎Rickster

I’m not a big local guy but it’s been nice layely
