- Have fun with Dan as he applies fun, humor and race walking skills to a half marathon in Golden Gate Park. Drawn into the race to support Harry and his brother, who raised over $10,000 for clean water in Africa, Dan has to shake off pre race jitters just to get on the track. It’s cold and windy at Ocean Beach in San Francisco. Bundled up, feeling off, Dan follows through with his word and is presented with the MOST BEAUTIFUL RACE YET. Maybe all things really are possible.

It was less then 15 maybe minutes a mile.

That is awesome. Congrats!! What is your training schedule like to walk a half?
4 miles a day, everyday, using a metronome at 125 to 140 steps per minute. I shoot under 15 minute miles. Thanks for asking.
