Did you take any noticeable MPG differences with the air damn gone? It has been too close for comfort a few times for clearance, but I also used mine for alot of highway driving.
They call the piece above the air dam a skid plate, why i do not know, can you get that off without taking the bumper cover off. Want to paint it black like the rest of the truck
Mine are 33s and with my offset that's as large as I can go with my lift kit. If you do a 2 inch lift and stock offset you can do 35s. I know alot of others with that setup
This is the best technique video I’ve seen on removing the air dam on a 23 Colorado. Concise and to the point!
Thank you. I appreciate it 👍
I have a 2006 Colorado. Love it. I like the look of the new ones. You are making me want one even more. Lol
Very nice. Haha ya when I saw the design of the new truck I knew I wanted one

No. Nothing noticeable.
do you notice any extra wind noise after removing the air dam?
No I do not
Does this void any kind of warranty on the truck?
No it does not
Do you leave the screws out of the bumper after the removal? If so do you pull the clips too?
Another great video, sooo when you goin to have the truck Giveaway??
Thank you hahaha 😆 when we hit 1 million subscribers
I actually think it looks better without it on
Ya that's why alot of people remove it 👍

Yes it is just clips and some fasteners below. You can see it in my video where I install the 589 front bumper
Is that the factory lift?
What size tires did you put on? I just got the ‘24 colorado trail boss and looking to replace the 32” with 35” tires
