Live Oak Campground in Edisto Beach State Park, SC - Review and beach visit!!

Camping near a beach is one of our favorite things to do, so we had to check out Edisto Beach State Park in South Carolina! They actually have two separate campgrounds here... the Beach Campground, and the Live Oak Campground. The beach campground is a much tougher reservation to get, so we stayed at Live Oak, but we loved it! A beautiful campground with plenty of shade (because of the live oaks) and nice sites. No sewer connections, but they have water and 30/50 amp hookups. They have RV sites that will accommodate just about any size rig (but watch for low branches), and tent/primitive camping as well. It's a short drive to the beach, and with your campground stay you get free parking at the state park beach parking lot. Very quiet, nice stay for us.
