That poor sound comes from the mic that is recording the scene and not the one that she is singing to. You can tell because all the sound is poor, not just the vocals

They can do that white their voice to cut when there's a handmic, the pressure gets less and they can drift the mic far or close according to the note. It's a bit easier for like defaulted reactions. 에일리는 뭐 노래 잘 하는 걸로 워낙 유명해서 실력으로는 새삼스러울 것도 없지만 뭐라하지 강약조절하는 스타일이라던가 목소리 톤이라던가 감정적인? 그런 분위기가 곡이랑 진짜 잘 어울리는 것 같음..이런 류의 곡이나 뮤지컬 같은 거 해줬으면 좋겠다 위쇼ost처럼 막 웅장하고 그런거 잘 어울릴 것 같아서 듣고싶은ㅠㅠ

I sincerely do not understand why Aille is not a very popular kpop artist... Such an amazing, strong and beautiful voice, such live performances in the kpop unit. It's so cool to sing such a difficult song. It's just on the next level! It is a pity that such talented artists are not very popular now.
