It is not yarn but TWINE normally used for washing lines. Twine comes in various sizes, thickness and colours. This particular twine is made from polyester, some are made with nature fiber such as cotton. Depending on the country you are in, you can try general stores, diy stores or gardening centres. If you can't find twine locally, you can order online i.e. eBay, amazon etc I bought these from PoundCity store many years ago. If you can't find twine, you can use 100% Cotton yarn, which will give a good effect as well. All the best. Shalom

You can use any twine size. If you use thinner twine size, your hair net will look finer and take more rounds to crochet. Thicker twine, means quicker time to crochet. You can even double thin twine ( hold two twine to crochet with) if you want a thicker or quicker hair net. All the best and God bless👍🏼
