(Chevy Tahoe) Quick Diag - P0300 code - Low Tech - Eyes and Ears

2002 Chevy Tahoe 5.3L
Random Multiple Misfire code P0300.
Number 1 plug wire arcing outside the cylinder intermittently.

Replacing plug wires and spark plugs. Complete tune-up.

@@EliTheOBDTech I even bought spark plugs insulation sleeves cost $30 for just 2 sleeves & it still arcs thru them, I also have long tube headers tho

How do you fix the arcing?

By replacing the plug wire/coil on plug and even at times the spark plug(s)

Sometimes if you listen and do a visual inspection, you can point the problem, no low tech or high tech tools required. It's was obvious that the problem was external arcing of the plug wire.
