on the end comparison it looks like the fixed barrel has more inner barrel wiggle. Probably because the stock the barrel could move without affecting the inner barrel but now the outer barrel screwed to the chamber, any movement of the slide on the barrel is transferred right to the inner.
i just bought the same-ish gun and saw your video, amazing !!!! i have a question, how did you get the inner barrel out, the hopup unit can't get our due to a 1 mm of the outer barrel ? i cannot twist it due to the outer barrel.
You can gain a lot, but after that mod you have to fit whole barrel module (outer/inner barrel + hop up unit) with frame. How to do that? Take the slide off and mount barrel without slide, check where is a wobble, glue some shim (even a piece of paper will do the job) and that's it. Then your pistol accuracy will improve and be only limited with quality of you barrel and hop up rubber.

I have the SRC hi capa and it has the fixed barrel from stock
Warning, buy a second barrel and hop unit and do it on that so if you either fuck it up, or wanna sell the gun, you won’t be out anything

You can do it using a rasp and sandpaper .Drills and dremels are very cheap nowadays!
