it's interesting how the sable church of londor depicts how the myths drifts from the original version across time, we all know about Kathee and the abyss, and what he did in New Londo, but, eons have passed and the tale has been repeated time after time after time, Kathee now is a distant god, darkriders are champions for his followers and even New Londo name was shortened into Londor

Also, how the Abyss Watchers are basically an aping of the Artorias legend but missing in parts, and the 5 thrones is a reenactment of the first linking of the flame when the chosen undead collected the 5 great lords Souls. The game is full of these snippets of myths/legends evolution through the eras.
Please keep making these. It’s become a nightly ritual to listen to these before i go to sleep and i have had dreams about dark souls every night because of them and has rekindled my obsession with the games, now I’m replaying through them all. Thank you for making these!
The symbolic rapier is a perpendicular bisector used for constructing crosses - there are a bunch of Xs on the tights - in opposition to the O of the Dark Sigil. Also, the Pardoner, Oswald, is named after Oswald Spengler (spec.) and is said to be the former commander of the Black Knights (design works).

In the end, an entire kingdom of Hollows emerged from the serpernt's ambitions and his will was carried by 3 sisters of a black church. However, only Ash, more than a mere hollow, will ultimately decide if his dying wish came to pass. Fear not The Dark my friend and let the feast begin.
