This is my eight year of teaching music but I still found this video so consoling and gave me encouragement. Yes, being an elementary music teacher (and now we've incorporated 6th-8th grade!) can be a lonely journey. But once rules and procedures in on place, as you so eloquently stated, it can be tons of fun. Thank you for posting!
You are so awesome! I'm preparing to teach general music after being out of the classroom for over a decade. Thank you so much for all these great tips!!!
Girl...it is so validating to finally hear someone else talk about the struggle that is making a circle!!!!! One question, when you are working with a class that is smaller than the amount of strips in your circle, do you find it difficult to get kids to fill in the gaps and think that they absolutely HAVE to be on a piece of velcro?
Thank you tons!! I am a second year teacher, but this will be my first year in the classroom. Question...How did you go about editing the slide for the Classroom rules? I purchased the TpT document but I'm not sure how to edit it! :/
I can not find your "classroom jams" posters. It's not linked in your description box. I even searched on TPT and couldn't find it. HELP! Can you please link it in a comment?

I’m about to establish a new instrumental program at a 6-8 school. I appreciate looking at how things work in you’re classroom. Thanks for sharing.

This is SO HELPFUL! Thank you!
Glad it was helpful!
I made a tape circle last year and it was a game changer! Loving the tips!
Thanks Rainy! Omg I am loving mine so far this year! I just sometimes can't seem to keep them from peeling the velcro off the floor
I start teaching tomorrow and you’re helping me so much! I’m so nervous!
You got this! I hope you had a great first day!

Thank you for the great ideas. I can't find the classroom jams rules posters. Is there a link?
Yes, it is linked in the rules song description!

Also- how do I get your "can't touch this" poster? It's not in her set.
Hi Krista, I linked both for you in the description of this video! Thanks :)
Access the description of the video by clicking the down arrow next to the title.
Where can I buy the rules printed out. I don't have access to the snazzy fonts and cliparts. Thanks
It might not be as pretty, but I recommend *not* using the snazzy fonts. It makes things hard to read for some of our students!
