Natürlich muss man zwischen Marketing Gimmicks/Infos und wirklich nützlicher Technik unterscheiden können. Sehe diese Serie von Massimo als Enduser immer wieder sehr gerne an, obwohl sie hauptsächlich als Trainingsmaterial für die Händlerschaft produziert werden. Nirgendwo sonst kann man bessere, tiefgreifendere Infos zu Marantz/Denon Produkten finden. Alle anderen YT-Channels plappern nur nach was hier dargestellt wird. Danke! Und noch eins: Bitte seht zu das HEOS endlich auf die Höhe der Zeit kommt und auch z.B. Qobuz unterstützt.
Great, I know what Marantz did here. If you want the top of the line go to model 30, and if the speakers are hard even for the Model 30 amp there are pre outs. No HDMI here but most of the folks in this category will not probably play 24/48 files from Apple TV anyway and they are already in possession of a large cd/sacd collection and dsd files over the local storage and stream from hq services like tidal/qobuz. The model 40n is great as a standalone box solution if you have no cd collection and if you do just add the 60 cd. Also the 40n has power amp inputs so great to integrate with a Marantz cinema receiver. The 50 amp looks to me more or less same to the 40 amp without the network player which is integrated to the cd. Question is 40n + 60 cd or 50 series?
I’d be interested to hear the answer to this as well! It doesn’t make sense perhaps, especially on the Model 50. It should automatically go to sleep after 20 seconds or so.
Marantz is constantly jumping between the analog and digital, just compare Model 30 vs 40n vs 50 vs 70s. Actually, purely analog Model 50 is a big let down. No streamer, no BT, not even an HDMI? Simply put - in order to be any useful in nowaday's digital world, what just Marantz did, is they push you to buy also a CD50n as a twin, which makes it a $3600 deal, even more expensive, than the 40n. It just does not make sense ....

A quick question : you use OLED displays on amp and CD player. Can they burn-in if we leave them always on ?

Nowadays many audiophiles don't play CD as much and how does Marantz CD50N compare to China product like Gustard R26 or Eversolo DMP-A8?
