I have listened to this hundreds of times. I haven't played or heard the original game but I find this transporting.

I return once again. I am greeted by this comment, an echo of myself. I press play, and the music evokes familiar feelings. I am pleased, they are why I've come.
Bitter-sweet melancholy, like reflecting on glories of old or dwelling on aspirations long abandoned. The joys of days of yore, colored brightly now in rose tint, but tinged with regret like a drop of bleach.
Respite from the frenetic, like breathing deeply from a bank of solid fog on a rainy day in the autumn woods, rendered alone by the murky haze. Or being caught, almost unaware, by the subtle pleasure of warm summer sun and fresh morning breeze.
A swelling of creativity, like imagining distant lands and fantastic perils for adventurers in simpler times, or the sway of hips and ringing of tassels from Primrose, the Dancer.
Already, I feel distant from my past self, his problems solved and replaced by new ones or festering still unresolved, his goals accomplished and fueling ambition or set aside to temper expectations, and his opinions like clay, dry and ossifying or molded anew by moist hands.
But in this song I feel kinship once more, continuity of the self. Isn't it remarkable how day by day, nothing changes, but when I look back everything is different...

Do you have any interest in doing Oasis in the Sparkling Sands? I love that track

I just listened to that track and I agree it is beautiful. I will say it sounds like it would be very challenging to get to fit for solo guitar. I wonder if I can manage it as a duet? That might sound nice...

It does sound very good ! I wonder how it feels on guitar though

@@Shriukan1 Just from a tentative look at it it's not the most comfortable thing in the world to play. This seems like one of those pieces where you'd have to alter the nature of the piece quite a lot to get something playable and comfortable. You'd need to more hint at the movement in the music rather than try and get it super close. Still, man is it a pretty track.

@@kabukibear Well judging by your other arrangements I bet it would sound great if you did it. Cheers!
