- SO WHILE I WAS IN DAWSON SPRINGS KENTUCKY MY GRANDMOTHER AND HER SISTER IN LAW WANTED TO GO SEE THE OLD CEMETERY WHERE MY 73 YR OLD AUNTS GRANDMOTHER IS BURIED. THE OLDEST MARKED HEADSTONE WAS FROM 1853 BUT THERE WERE SEVERAL THAT HAD NO MARKINGS AT ALL JUST A ROCK AS A MARKER
Nice to see that someone has been keeping that old cemetery clear. It's very sad when they become overgrown and covered up.
Great Video! I love visiting the old cemeteries.
These are people that time has forgotten, very sad
I cried watching this thinking that these poor people are now all but forgotten with only a stone for a marker. Very sad, but I certainly appreciate your video. Thank you!
It kindly looks like the old cemetery on Ivey creek in Floyd county Kentucky
Thank you so much for sharing your video. I believe this cemetery had the most handmaded gravestones.
I wish you'd read the names. I'm looking for my gggg grandfather's grave which is supposedly in Christiansburg Ky but can't find it listed. 1782 supposedly.
I love this
I’m sure theses are old family graves yards on family private property and still owed by family members? Or abandoned and family related don’t known about them.
I wonder how come the twenty century urban spreading left untouched this cemetery.
Does anyone know where the Peter Trace grave yard is. In Minefee Co
Is this in Chapman Kenticky
Next time focus 🕸
Bad picture cant see very good.
It looks like a cemetery for poor and wasted lives. People ought to care more for the living than the dead.
