    Let be honest though, The PSO (contractor security) are the ones doing their jobs, they are in front line in all the buildings.

      Supposedly, FPS trains and certifies security guards at federal sites. It's in the video- it's about contracts and manpower I guess.

    • @FederalUncovered
      @FederalUncovered  11 місяців тому +7

      This is true, but they do patrol around sometimes, but yes most times is contractors who do the actual security of the buildings.

    • @thezfamily989
      @thezfamily989 11 місяців тому +4

      @Ordanborniv FPS basically approves what contractors can do/wear/train, etc. The contractor trainers have to go to the fps courses to pass that down to the PSO.

      @santaslayer77 let be honest though lol, fps doesn't respond at all times lol. They are off on weekends, they take hours to respond to a location. If you are a dispatcher for region 5 you should know what I'm talking about and what location.

    PSO’s (Protective Security Officer) are the ones actually doing most of FPS work. There’s not enough FPO’s to cover all federal buildings. All FPS do is further enforce policies, laws and/or make an arrest if necessary. Their primary job is to oversee PSO’s.

    I am with an officer. I worked through 911. My mother was the dress designer for JF Kennedy. My priest was father Kennedy. My brother works in the pentagon. I went with DHS with Thomas. At the time I was married to special forces. I went to see my brother Daniel. To me the attacks of 911 were personal. I was upset. I had no comprehension at the time how bad it was until I was there uo close. Prior to 911 we knew something was wrong. Our computer went dark and we were concerned. I called the police and they came over to my house. They said it’s nothing you have done we just have to get you out of the house. I asked then why. My house was modern. Built maybe in the 70 but it was built on the property of a plantation. Things had happened in the ground in the past. We would go back there and other families would move into the house following us. And call it home. The computer my children were using for their studies was a govt computer. And it was intended for them to learn on it and essential that they did. My so is studying to be an accountant. He was a toddler putting together a video of how putting putt goes to the moon. Many of his classmates would indeed go onto to go kites soace. It was a shared computer.
