Teddie gets a crowdsurf, Kanji and Yosuke gets faceplants to the ground, and Yu is the number one badass by landing like one.
+Ana Karen you mean EPIC faceplants
+Ana Karen They did that too on Persona Q
***** I know. I have the game myself and I couldn't stop laughing at the slow motion of Yosuke's fall as soon as he plopped down on Kanji, and Yu just randomly comes down in front of them after XD.
I wished someone just tell Yosuke and Kanji that they were kissed on that time XD
***** That could've been Rise though because she saw it, remember? Chie asked Rise if anything happened while the guys were in there and Rise says that she "didn't see a single thing" in there.
This must be hilarious to the audience when you think about it. This is a band made up of:
a famous performer known across the nation
the daughter of the owner of the town's single tourist attraction
the most sporty girl in town
a guy many people think is a hooligan
a child detective
the son of the manager of the biggest store in town
the mascot of said store
and some random kid that recently moved in.
You are right XD
"Some random kid that recently moved in" I died there cx
+POKENAR Also, in _The Animation_, the biggest tsundere of all time as lead guitarist and backup vocalist.
well I mean, it's for the aesthetic
Well I mean Yosuke, Teddie and Rise kinda make sense, given the event. But everyone else is basically arbitrary.
Naoto's happy face just gets to me. Yes, be happy and hyped, little detective, you deserve all the happiness for the shit you put up with
darkraikou123 Yep, she's like Max Payne except she can actually have a happy face some time but...
darkraikou123 Or actually, she went through the same shit as Max Payne but she's sort of different.
Thats the thing.
Just like makoto yuki, when he smiles it Makes Me so haP.
Its becuz Its rare to see them smile
It’s a synth.
@@CashMoneyGold
I thought Dojima was the one who was like Max Payne.
">at least, so you tell yourself"
I love this game's sense of humor.
I imagine it as the MC's sense of humor.
+SilverScizor753 He's so modest, he came out looking like a total badass landing on his knee in that pose
>"Stay and help"
"Be an ass and leave"
Space-Potato "Be an ass and leave" is my favorite possible action/dialogue option in any video game ever.
Like just saying "Leave" already shows you're kinda an ass, but the game wants you to know and specifically calls you out on the fact that you'd be an ass if you left, so funny XD
As for narration being the MC's thoughts, he's self aware of being an ass, but choosing it just shows he doesn't care enough about helping XD
Persona 4: Dancing All Night, Chapter 0
Sirmat Chapter -1.
In story mode there is a chapter 0
K1 you really gonna dis a guy who commented a year ago?
No dignity
@@slyassassinxx4466 wasent dising the guy i was just saying and found it a bit ironic when you think about it
baby baby baby baby baby baby....
Rise "Say hello"
Teddie "HEH LO"
James Wood
That was pretty adorable, tbh X3
Well, Yukiko and Chie didn't want to do the chorus and somebody had to ^^
i like how naoto is on the keyboard and you can't hear any keyboard in the actual song
So I had to listen deeply their is a faint piano noise
That's where you wrong kiddo. It's a synth
It could've been for synths; I heard some in the song
It’s a swirly organ sound
There is just chords though
The way the MC landed at the end... He could have played an epic guitar solo and everything would have been fine XD
Reference of Guiter Hero maybe?
MC was playing bass guitar XD he can't do that
Emblemblazed coop Lps Still coulda played a soulful baseline.
Emblemblazed coop Lps
Prof. Luigi is right. This is Yu we're talking about here.
Riexon Oh trust me. His Persona can do better!
Everyone:
Everyone's Personas: We're suddenly musical professionals.
Orpheous; I BET YOU WISHED YOU HAD ME NOW HUH?
And trompeter
and thus the idea for Persona 4 Dancing All Night was conceived
lol
Seems legit
But they didn't include this English version in the game. What a shame.
And this is where they got their instruments... except Teddie... how does a tambourine change to a DJ set
MuSICisLiFman i thought the idea came from the games opening intro, you know the one where they are all dancing and. Yosuke was dancing with a trash can( still sad Yosuke did not dance with a trash can in persona 4 dancing)
MC during the stage dive...what a badass.
Yosuke and Kanji during the stage dive..... EPIC FAIL! HAHAHAHA!
I just love that Teddie was able to do a successful stage dive and get carried around, while the MC manages to land safely while Kanji and Youske didn't have much luck with how it turned out.
I couldn't stop laughing, Hahahaha!
@@zoeanimations2186 "safely"
Yeah, you sure about that?
*Chie:* "Wh-what?! Wait, I'm no idol!"
(gets announced as a playable character for _Persona 4: Dancing All Night_ the very next year)
Kanjilearner Chie is still the best character though
Kanjilearner the funny thing is how most of the characters instruments are the ones in p4: dancing all night
Yeah lol
Kanjilearner Chie 2018 LUL
Fuck, I'm three years late to make that joke
Nobody mentions this or notices this, but in the anime cutscene of the concert, there's a very subtle animation that not many people catch onto.
In Rise's Social Link, she starts having left show business because she feels it's tearing away at her sense of identity and self. She left because she felt that no one saw the real "her", and merely saw "Risette" which she perceived to be a fabricated personality to be presented to the masses. Throughout the S. Link, she realizes that "Risette" is a genuine part of herself as a whole, and that it's a facet of herself as a person: to deny it would mean to deny a part of herself. She subsequently returns to her showbiz career for the sake of herself, and those she trusts too, and everyone around her.
Now here, this is her first live concert since her leave of absence from the industry. If you watch the cutscene, at the start of the song, she's shying behind the microphone: she's very timid and unprofessional looking, and very still behind it. Like she's still scared of really presenting herself out there. But look: you then suddenly look at around 17:05-17:06, her eye flickers to her left: where Yu is. Yu isn't in her plain eyesight, but Rise knows he's there, and he was the man who helped her realize what she truly valued. She realizes he, and all of her friends (the rest of the IT) are behind her, and supporting her. Right after that, she steps forward and goes all out, smiling, and expressing confidence, fully bringing out her performer persona. She begins to naturally bring her performer skills and professionalism outwards.
It really goes to show just how far her character has come. When we first meet Rise in the game, she's practically miserable. She's stressed out, depressed, and just wants to get away from it all. This particular scene really shows how much she's grown as a character since, and how much she trusts her friends on the IT, especially at a time where she had no one to trust before then, because she felt no one saw the real her before that. That's pretty big to trust someone in a world where you feel no one sees the real you, or cares to try.
Rise is just really an awesome character. She's amazingly written, complex, and very well developed as a character. This is just one of the many scenes that goes to show it. I dare say she's one of the best written characters in this game.
Oh and props to Laura Bailey and Atlus for really smoothly dubbing the song. I didn't think they'd translate the song into English, considering it's a Japanese written song and singing usually isn't a profession required by Western voice actors. But Laura really has incredible singing talent, and Atlus did a smooth job at making the song translate smoothly into English in both pitch, rhythm, mouth flaps, and lyrics. Props to Atlus and Laura for making such a smooth translation of a Japanese song.
ScraftyIsTheBest i wish i was as good at explaining as you xD
ScraftyIsTheBest I was about to make a comment about the eye-flicker, I haven't seen to many people that noticed it and understand the meaning behind it, kudos to you to explaining it far better than I ever could.
That's actually really insightful, I couldn't see it or tell until you mentioned it.
That's one of the best aspects of Persona 4 and Golden, I think, is how much it makes you think about the emotions of the characters and the way they respond and react to the experiences they go through.
and people says rise is clingy cliches and unbearable XD
woah that's crazy, I hadn't thought of that...
I love the leadership shown by Rise as a seasoned performer. This game is just the golden standard for character development in video games.
+Chameleon Sunny I guess the name was an appropriate choice! :)
+Chameleon Sunny I loved it too. The character who perhaps most ran the risk of being written off as a ditzy airhead demonstrates just _why_ she was a nation famous idol.
Yeah, I love Rise, when you pay attention to some of her lines, she says some incredibly wise and profound stuff throughout the course of the game. I would go as far to say she might be the most mature and wise one of the whole group.
Space-Potato "I don't have dreams, I have goals."
I liked that one. Rise is actually really thoughtful and speaks with a lot of conviction, despite her airy demeanor. Her VA did a fantastic job.
Well she *is* the leader of the first years, as seen in dancing all night (which has a better story than Ultimax. Yeah, I said it!)
Rise: I was discarding my clothes more than I was discarding my fear...
Kanji: For me, it was like...discarding my public image anyway.
DAMN LOL. I still remember that scene kanji. XD
Agito410 want a copy?
@@shadowhunter-mi5su Ahh, no.
Naoto didn’t really care at that scene, she said nothing and didn’t react to Teddie too much, even though she had one of the TV shows too...
@@Sawdustier I mean, yes, but she is the only responsable adult here aside from Nanako... and maybe Yu depending of yours dialogue selections.
@@franconunez925 Not to mention her shadow wasn't practically naked or anything...
I'm okay with high school students with the ability to summon otherworldly beings to fight for them. Really, I am. What I'm not okay with is the fact that they learned how to play a song with no previous musical talent in only 2 days. I'm calling bullshit.
Justin Davis TO be fair for the most part its just chords and percussion.
Gamer Ninja yeah you got a point...... The trumpet and saxaphone is the most questionable in my books. As a guitarist I know you can get away with simple chords and stuff but you know
Again, it owuldn't be outside the realm of possiblity for two students to spend 2-3 days to learn about.... 4 measures worth of sound and making it sound good.
Okay fair point.
Justin Davis Eh, depends on the instrument. If it's simple muscle memory then you could get it but reliably building up the air/stamina to hold a note would take much longer. I'm kinda leaning towards disbelief on this one but only because brass instruments can suck the life right out of you.
Naoto smiling during the performance was the most adorable thing ever
I can imagine Kanji saying "First rule of fight club: Don't talk about fight club" XD
Who wouldn't even think, the instrument which been used by Investigation Team (except Rise, Teddie & Naoto), their Persona will play it after they finished their dancing in Persona 4 Dancing All Night.
Great observation :)
The real question here: How did Kanji NOT break his neck, lose any teeth, or crack open his skull after that?!
Johnathan Ehritz This is the same guy who got shot by Mystery Food X: Final Edition in Persona Q and survived, while the shadow under the same category as the Reaper was killed in one shot.
Do not underestimate his tenacity.
Persona Grand Kanji is da man.
because his evolved persona gets resistance to physical attacks lol
@@personagrand5674 Exactly.
Because, anime logic
18:39 oh crap he is going super saiyan
I said the exact same thing when I saw that lol
More like super saiyan bear
Su-bear Saiyan
I never wanna hear Teddie say big brass balls ever again in my life.
"And when I say 'balls,' I mean...(teeheehee)"

that little animation rise does at 16:25 is fucking adorable
I know, I love how she’s psyching herself up XD
9:00
So feeling Teddie's speech, he knows what's wrong in the music charts of today.
Teddie knows our world better than those who have bad taste of music!
Bro fuck off with that stupid ass comment, the bear doesn't understand pop music. He's a boomer
Vince ikr
Starkller919 he’s a teenager fool
😂
I love how Teddie basically gets to be "Cowbell Guy"
I got a fever and the only prescription is more cowbell
Head canon: All of the music in P4 is from Risette albums
I actually imagine Shiroko as Rise
THATS WHAT I THOUGHTTT
gotta love the fact when teddy crowd surfs he bounces like a balloon. and when kanji trys it the crowd parts like the read sea XD
"Name a band better than 21 Pilots. I'll wait."
Me, an intellectual: 16:49
The investigation team 😎
Yukiko's little sax toot is my favorite part of this scene tbh
I love that part
. She's such precious menace. No wonder she's my #1 P4 girls
Atlus, please. itunes now.
I love how no one is talking about how adorable and funny Yukiko's sax toot is
Indeed. Such a lovable dork.
To be brutally honest, I wish Persona 5 had HALF the heart that Persona 4 Golden got. Don't get me wrong, I love P5, the atmosphere and the characters, specially Futaba, but Persona 4 Golden is still the better experience in my opinion. Both story and character development wise.
Blooper Tanooki To be fair, Golden was a remake and P5 is fairly new. P4 regular was pretty bland. They might do something like P5 Crimson to add on some more personality
sounds like you want persona 5 to have a CHANGE OF HEART
I'll see myself out
Let’s see what happens in Persona 5 Royal
I love everything about P5, everything but the confidant events. P4 Golden has more relatable and more likeable characters, just making the events more engaging. P5 takes a more of a serious approach to the events, and they're just kinda boring in my opinion.
Because P4 is for the most a "comedy" game with "dark moments".
Just compare the "happy moments" P4 has with P3 or P5. The difference is big.
did no one notice that there is namatame just sitting when the band is about to perform? (15:03) and yusuke noticed at (15:39) and at (18:35) namatame left the scene and yusuke noticed..
Holy shit don't tell me it's him 😯
@@affandi99 it IS
@@user-ek2xg3ps5s OH SHIIIII
@@affandi99 *SANADA BIATCHHHHHH*
I had no idea what you were talking about but I suddenly remembered the dude in the the baby blue jumpsuit
I love how through the whole conversation Yukiko is not even paying attention, just trying to get some sound at all
Naoto getting so hyped.
love seeing her happy
Person in the crowd: “Were the people who went missing recently just getting ready for a secret Risette performance?”
Yosuke's father hearing this: When did you go missing?!!! Is that how you found Teddie?!!
scenes like these just hit you with that good kinda nostalgia, y'know?
Persona 5 need more scenes like this...
Gr0s3d they always felt so bland and boring. Like they weren’t really friends more than just teammates.
ツAcidicAli777 well this is mostly because P4 Golden is a remake, they’ll probably add more content like this in a remake for P5
Dragunov98 I hope so..but really it felt like the Phantom Thieves were just...a team. And a bad one at that. They don’t work well with each other. And they don’t have fun with each other as much..
ツAcidicAli777 Finally someone said it! Thank You! People will ignore this and act like P5 is the perfect game but I hope Atlus Fixes this In the Royal.
The closest P5 had to this was the Hawaii trip. But, even then...
chie learned trumpet embouchure in one day. chie really is best girl
She learned to play it for just 20 seconds because she sang along for the rest of the time.
My fav part is when Teddie says hello.
All these years and I still find this funny. P4 is so precious. Currently playing P5 Royal and the Investigation Team will always remain in my heart
WHOO!! Concert was awesome!
14:05 this shot blew my mind on my second play through
laura bailey
Wait....
Edit
HOW DID I NOT REALIZE THAT LAURA BAILEY (aka my all-time favorite VA) VOICES RISE?!?!
Edit I thought this was an edit
Props to Yukiko and Chie for learning how to play something on the saxophone/trumpet in the span of a day
One of the coolest scenes in the game !
I'm loving this song!
Chie and Yukiko: We are not singing!
later
Chie, Yukiko, Yu, Naoto: LET'S LIP IT!!
favorite scene so far
Yukiko is so cute
that's a weird way to say Rise
Rifaz is it that hard to spell Rise?
Yukiko is very beautiful cardboard
They’re both adorable 😊
Rise's trash. Change my mind. Not as bad as Marie tho
Kanji and Rise are my favorite characters in the game. Kanji is so hilarious with trying to show his "manliness" (I died with the birth of Venus part too) and Rise is best girl and waifu material
Everyone is happy, and that makes me happy as well.
I love this scene :D
Goddamn Teddie is adorable, I wanna plushie of Ted
+SENzA I'll give you the Teddie plushie provided I can have the Naoto plushie :)
And now I really want that to be a actual thing IRL.
+Edward Hardwick Meh, I'd rather have a kanji action figure.
I want it made with pure teddie fur.
The voice actors look like they were having a blast with this game.
"That was an actual music" 😂
This is why I love persona 4 xD
Haha! That's awesome! They used "True Story" from Persona 4: The Animation - Episode 9!
It is track 5 on the CD
In persona 4 the golden animation Marie was present
If you read the full song, it actually talks about most of P4.
naoto looks so happy bruh
Each of their instruments foreshadowed what their personas play in Persona 4: Dancing All Night
I have watched this scene many times and I never noticed Namatame was sitting in the background listening to them.
acutally insane,how musics underrated
I like how their instruments match the instruments their Personas use in P4: DAN
God I love the Investigation Team’s dynamic
Jazz for your soul -Yukiko
Naoto your keyboard is muted
Ending is just perfect xD
8:29 the French narrator from Spongebob:
Three Hours Later...
Friend goals
A behind the scenes look in the making of the I’ll Face Myself remix for Smash Bros Ultimate to cheer on their friend, Joker for getting into Smash
I just realized *some* of them used the instruments that there persona's use in Dancing All Night
Kanji the face plant was so hilarious!!!😂😂😂😂😂😅
17:21 - 17:22
Ok, but you gotta admit, that was pretty adorable
It's adorable seeing them going from not knowing what they're doing, to learning what it's like to be in a band
I find it weird people just, accept Teddie's existence ya know.
It’s already been established he became Junes’s mascot
Why the hell every single time i see Yu with a bass guitar, i remember Geezer Butler, and the moment i see him jump into the ground and fall like that, i imagine him playing the solo from N.I.B?
16:49 is when True Story starts
Yet Yu stuck that landing, with the guitar still in his arms.
I feel like Yu would be screaming on the inside lol he's the type to hide how he feels feels deep down. Just like how Shadow Yu (which while from the anime, is now canon as of P4 Arena) represented his loneliness in P4 anime and his hidden aggression and urge to kill as of P4 Arena
Litten Fire his urge to WHAT?!?! I have never heard of that before
19:52 LOL! Kanji gets me everytime! I can't stop laughing! XD
I...didn't know...It was possible...To stand on your own face...
Yukiko: I learned the sax from "The Epic sax guy"
Best game ever created.
*EXACTLY. LIKE. WE. PRACTICED!*
17:39 This reminds me of The 3rd opening from The animated series of Jojo Diamond is Unbreakble.
great days :p
Props to kanji for being actually really good at drums after like a week.
16:51 that starting shot of my waifu ♥️🥰
Yukiko has no eyes
Alright. I get the hype for 4 now
Everyday's great at your junes
The seekers of truth: Debut concert.
9:12 I love how all of them except Yu get the little irritated emote when Teddie admits to making the noise.
Que gran concierto 😆
Ouch...that's going to leave a mark... Hopefully Yosuke and Kanji will be alright after that yes?
Eh they get thrown around by shadows on the regular, they will live :P
Wow Kanji's been through deep shit. F for him
SWAN DIVE INTO THE CONCRETE FLOOR!!
They played the same intrusments as in dancing all night
Sam Reigel is hilarious as Teddie
Omfg it just gets better, everyone trying to crowd surf, and the crowd moves out of the way, and kanji falls on his face. I'm playing this scene on pc version right now.
I got goosebumps watching this, the team spirit is absolutely perfect, I’d say even better than the Phantom Thieves.
no they. Not
That song is so a battle theme.
