The first movement is very similar to the one of the second sonata in D minor. This is very symphonic too indeed! The sound of tutti is so distinguishible in the score

What is the difference between this no.3 and so called FAE sonata?

The FAE sonata was written by three composers, much earlier. Schumann composed two movements that later incorporated to his 3rd Sonate. Brahms wrote his famous Scherzo. More details in en.wikipedia.org/wiki/F-A-E_Sonata
