Calendar man is so awesome. He's my absolute favorite underrated Batman Villain. He's just a well drawn out character. The writers just need to put him in more stories which flush out his more awesome side.
It would be interesting to see how writers could turn around cheezy villains into fleshed out characters. I found Calendar Man's cameo in Arkham City to be very well done. That said, I don't think it's possible to do a modern interpretation of the Condiment King...

Agreed, Batman's villains has almost always been material for the asylum in one way or another. Pyromaniacs, duel personalities and psychos with obsessions, that's how they usually are.
Pattinson just talked about wanting to face Calendar Man in the upcoming sequels if the movies become a trilogy. I can see why! There's so much room for creative freedom with these other characters.
Well the sequel has already been announced months back so who knows if he will be in those films, hopefully he will be! Loved The Batman so much and would love to see more characters in that universe!

I think he could be used as a serious character, though he would have to be a sadistic killer. There are loads of horror movies where people are killed on holidays like Halloween, Christmas etc Imagine how much time he would have to plan his murders between holidays and how difficult it would be for Batman to catch him because of that planning.

I really enjoyed that 80-page giant. When I saw the cover, I was "Calendar Man? Seriously?", but that story went on to show that with good writing, you can turn any character interesting. Chuck Dixon did not disappoint.
I would love to play Calender Man in a live action media both in his red suit with calender page cape and his darker insane Arkham version. You can go full campy or crazy with this character.

I just invested and bought a comic book copy of Detective Comics 259 (1958) CGC 3.0. My name is 'Julian' which is Calendar Man's real name, also just a super cool villain to collect in my comic shelf.
This is not a supervillain but is a good one, I hope he reappears in Arkham Knight. PS: the easter egg in Arkham City about him is great, one of the best easter eggs in games.
