I just ordered the Q16 series for my 2021 Challenger GT. Should have them in a couple days,so I hope I like them. 😊 I’m also replacing all my interior lights and my trunk and plate lights with auxito bulbs.
Hey great video, but I have had a problem with my driver side shutter inside of the light. Passenger is completely fine works great. Just can’t figure out what to do with the driver side shutter the light works just the high beam won’t turn on.
I would suggest swapping the bulbs to make sure they are both working properly. If the problem moves to the passenger side then its probably a bulb problem and you can get a replacement.
No modifications and the wires just tuck in behind the dust cover. Remember though that this tutorial only applies to going from oem halogen to LED. Im pretty sure oem HID is different.

Assuming you have factory halogen bulbs and not factory HID you need the 9012. I absolutely love you videos bro!! I joined your fb group also, and I just took delivery of my 2023 300C 6.4 Hemi. That thing is crazy fun!! I also ordered a hellcat challenger white body but in chicago with their adjusted markup it was 100k. I couldn't justify spending 100k on a hellcat as bad as I wanted one. That 6.4 300C is more than enough fun for me, coco be looking up your past videos for the oil changes and maintenance. Last police that's awesome drone footage under car. In my 55 years I have owned several vehicles used and new and on two lane roads I have had people flash me in every single one, including my new sxt i got 3 months ago. I cant stand my halogens as they dont light up enough on the sides of the road,, like your LEDs. Plus they dont eluminate squat straight down the road either. I will get me some of these before next winter. Im tapped out for now as in 3 months I managed to do 10 grand in mods. Other than these lights Im finaly done with the car. Lowered it Friday and next week the 20's with 275/305's go on. When the warranty expires I will think about FI but most likely won't.

You didn’t need a conversation kit from halogen to led? Mine won’t link together bc the ballasts are different. It’s been a bad headache trying to figure this out on my own. But thanks for the video, love your car!
In my case I simply removed the halogen bulb and replaced it with the LED. No conversion kit needed. Are you sure your car didn’t come with factory HID and not halogens? Hope you get it figured out!
The LEDs were definitely an upgrade for me from my halogen bulbs but I’d say that the factory HIDs are pretty good already. My last Challenger had factory HIDs and remember having no issues seeing at night.
No issues with the headlights. I did have one of their switchback turn signal lights in my Sequoia go out, but they got me a new one under warranty really quickly. As for the headlights in the challenger, I have had zero issues.

I’m not personally a fan of them but I do definitely see their appeal. I’ve watched some videos on installs and really it looks like the hardest part of the whole thing is getting up the courage to drill the holes. I’ve yet to hear of anyone making a mistake and destroying anything so it’s probably pretty simple. But putting the drill on a perfectly good hood will take some balls but I think overall its not difficult. If you do it post up your experience on my new Facebook group so we can all see. I had to email the company on these. When I use their site it says no headlights available for My 23 SXT which are halogens. On Amazon that part number 9012 HIR2 keeps coming up with fog light replacements.
What year is your Challenger? They emailed me back and said there are 2 bulbs that will fit. Actually it was one bulb part number totally different and different looking than yours. The other link they sent me was for some canbus anti flicker adapter. Starting to think maybe I should just leave mine alone.
@@moparlifescatpack I went to auxito's website and for 21 they say that what you installed is correct. I'm thinking they just haven't updated the info for the 23 model and they work fine. I can't see Dodge changing something like light bulbs in the last 2 years of the Challengers run.
Hello. Got this installed in my 2015 Dodge Challenger R/T. Both lights turn on when I unlock my car, but they turn off when I start it. What might be the issue? Thanks in advance.
I have not heard of that issue before so not sure what else it could be. Seems unlikely you would get two bad bulbs. All I can suggest is double check the connections again or swap them and see if that does anything.

Trying to swap mine out on my 19 charger but when I took the housing off it has that box on the back and I couldn’t unclip it for nothing didn’t want to break anything so I stopped but my question is did I buy the wrong ones because even if I get the connector off the old one it still doesn’t look like the connectors match I’m so lost and just trying to see at night

I installed some but they're super dim even when it has a crazy amount of lumens advertised. Do u think i installed it wrong or do you think it's just a cheap version? I originally had hid's when i bought my car (used) and now I'm wondering if i should go back to that. HIDs have super low life cycles so idk
I don’t know anything really about replacing HIDs. I’ve just replaced halogen bulbs with LED. I know the HIDs use a ballast and not sure if you can just slip an LED bulb in there without having to change anything. 🤷🏻♂️

Aww man I haven’t had that problem…are yours still under warranty? I have their LED turn signals on my Sequoia, and one of them stopped working, and they warranteed it very quickly.
@@moparlifescatpacki had just installed them a couple hours ago today the flickering isnt anything noticeable you have to really focus on the headlights to notice a small flicker nothing major i dont drive the car for more than 30 mins at a time so i think ill be good this video really helped me out alot especially at night time thank you and keep posting 👍🏻

I have not driven for more than 30 minutes at a time since the lights. I live in a small town and this is a weekend car so I haven’t done any long stretches yet with the new bulbs.
@mopatlifescatpack Did you drive them for longer distances already? One guy already mentioned heat development since they’re 120W and I’m also intrigued to know 😄
I personally have not had that problem. The longest trip Ive take where I’ve had to use the lights is probably 3 hours and they worked just fine. I can say that I had one of my auxito switchback leds on my Toyota Sequoia stop working and they sent me a replacement lightning fast under their warranty so I can personally attest that if you end up having any issues the company is great about standing behind their product. @@xTheMarlboroMan
@@xTheMarlboroMan I went for the 30W option. They are still much brighter and give you that white light also being only a 1/4 the power of the 120W version I hope the heat produced is scaled accordingly.
This video only applies if your car comes with halogen bulbs from the factory. If you have HIDs you have a different lighting set up. Otherwise all the halogens are the same.

I wish you would've shown how you removed the bulb. I have small hands and I still can't get in there.
Skip to 2:50 and maybe that will help. Remove the cap then watch which way I say to twist the bulb to remove it. Hopefully that helps.

No problems at all but I went from halogen to LED. If your car has HID instead of halogen bulbs you will need something different.

Were were these LED bulbs able to be plugged directly into the stock headlamp bulb connectors or did you need an LED adapter?
These are plug and play as long as you have the stock halogen bulbs and not the factory HID.

If you got the same ones as in the video and they aren’t as bright I would recommend sending them back for a replacement. They have a warranty.

Either up and down OR side to side?
No adjustments because its just a bulb replacement. These just aim where the factory ones aimed. No changes except a much brighter light output.

For what it is worth I have never had an oncoming car flash me because of these headlights.

These will only work if you currently have halogen bulbs. They are not replacements for is you have the factory HID set up already.
If you have projection headlights you'll have HID bulbs. If you're not liking them, I recommend getting some D3S LED bulbs.
So when purchasing it comes with a set right? Not just 1 light?
Yes. Comes with two bulbs. One for each side.

Make sure your headlights are set to “auto” inside the car

Have you had any issues with these? I bought a different brand also 120v with the antiflicker piece and mine randomly shut off while driving

Make sure your car didn’t come with factory HID. If it has a silver box w a lightning bolt on it then you have HIDs not halogens.
I have a 22 rt. Did you have to add the canbus anti-flicker to these bulbs? Any error codes
I did not have to use the anti-flicker and so far there has been no issue with flicker or any error codes.

I have not driven for more than 30 minutes at a time since the lights. I live in a small town and this is a weekend car so I haven’t done any long stretches yet with the new bulbs.

Do you not know that the 23 Dodge Challenger does not come with the capabilities of installing new LED lights
Make sure you don’t already have factory HIDs.

No issues at all. They still look as good as they did on day 1.
@mopatlifescatpack Did you drive them for longer distances already? One guy already mentioned heat development since they’re 120W and I’m also intrigued to know 😄
I personally have not had that problem. The longest trip Ive take where I’ve had to use the lights is probably 3 hours and they worked just fine. I can say that I had one of my auxito switchback leds on my Toyota Sequoia stop working and they sent me a replacement lightning fast under their warranty so I can personally attest that if you end up having any issues the company is great about standing behind their product. @@xTheMarlboroMan
@@xTheMarlboroMan I went for the 30W option. They are still much brighter and give you that white light also being only a 1/4 the power of the 120W version I hope the heat produced is scaled accordingly.
Horrible video I have absolutely no access once I open those covers on the back of the headlights there's no light bulb to turn in any direction
This video only applies if your car comes with halogen bulbs from the factory. If you have HIDs you have a different lighting set up. Otherwise all the halogens are the same.
In the first shot of the video, your headlights are aimed incorrectly, you can see it on the floor
