some people lose their faith because heaven shows them too little but how many people lose their faith because heaven shows them too much? HEAVEN ISN'T HEAVEN ANYMORE!
I used to be a man who only Loved Dubstep, and when i first heard this, i was like Wtf am i listening to. 2 years later, i talk non stop about how Great Drum&Bass is, I love this tune !
I blew out my speakers in the middle of the night playing this song because I had an test in the morning and my parents couldn't shut up while being under covers. In my defense they were verbally attacking each other and I had already taken the battery from the clock in my room cause I couldn't sleep because of stress. Fuck me right.
Dylan teased this release for so long because it was the ultimate closer track, but in 2006 moshpits began every time anyone dropped this one. Just pure chaos ensued. The punks and metalheads loved it, anyone else that got caught in the pit...not so much.
I liked CV except for these type of tunes, until he visited my city. This is complete madness when heard live! Total mayhem, people going completely nuts all around you, white light right in your face.. awesome :D Despite the total lack of melody and groove, these drum patterns are insanely well done and hit so hard with a good sound setting. Too bad he's been away from these type of tracks lately :/
I miss this era of DNB and so happy Barcode is back up n running! I am a jazz bassist and mostly make elaborate melodic compositions, yet this kind of ANTI-MELODIC mayhem is like a fucking drug for me! Working on some odd meter stuff in this vein to send to Barcode after chatting with Donny a bit... unmixable on top of anti-melody? will it work? lol
@FacelessScarlet Intros are usually about 40s to 1 min to give time for the DJ to mix in parts of the song ahead of time when they are doing it live. So the intros are usually best seen as the DJ's prep time. It's not so noticeable when you're in clubs, but yea, it seems overextended when you're listening just from the computer or MP3 player or something.
Probably two, although with the right kit, one practiced drummer could do it. You'd prob need some electronics to really get the punch that these drums have in the mix.
And he looks really north-west or central European for someone who's from around the Mediterranean Sea. Quite funny how modern-day portrayals of Jesus tends to be all kinds of ethnicities *except* one fitting to the area. These days we have access to information that artists of ages past lacked (and therefor often had no or a limited idea of ethnicities other than their own). BBC's "Son of God" doc is on UA-cam, where they try to recreate the face of a man in that area and time.
There are a lot of dnb heads that hate this kind of stuff and think it's terrible. Obviously everyone here is mostly going to be positive cause they got here by searching for Current Value.
@KyojiK oh...well, yeah I was listening to this here at home...hmm you're right, I wouldn't notice anything if I was at a club or something. Thanks for the explanation :D
I just watched the Prophecy again, recently and godDAMN do DNB people sample the HELL out of it lol Fair enough, there are a ton of quotable things in that movie.
Synthetic Violence has been producing since 2004. Current Value has been in the game since 1992. Think Current Value was doing this before Synthetic Violence knew what a snare drum was.
@theonlylolking Oops. I'm actually the person you originally sent a response to. This is just my separate account. CerebrumTranceStep = LPDarkSoulsHD. But anyways, I wasn't really implying that you need to physically relax. But I am aware of the fact that they are the same.
See, when Synthetic Violence threw beats around all crazy like this, people bitched and whined about it, whereas here, everyone loves it. I think a lot of DnB fandom is down to image, not quality of music.
at some point in the gospel, Jesus asks his disciples who they think he is. Peter replies, saying, "You are the Messiah, Son of the living God." Jesus then tells Peter that he's correct. although, this is not the only instance. The entire Old Testament's main point and message is that Jesus is God. And even Jesus backs up the truth of the Old Testament by fulfilling prophecies and even quoting scripture.
It doesn't mean a physical father and son relationship, it was just called that so we could sorta be able to understand. Plus, a lot of things can be lost in translation, Hebrew words hold much more emotion than English words. In a sense, it's sorta saying Jesus is "of God" i guess haha
Coming back to this every once in a while per year... still crushing it in 2019
Better still doesn't made.... )))))
still crushing in 2050

MOTHERR OF GODD!!!! :D So much Poweeeeer!
2019🔥🔥🔥
I want to see this done live. How many drummers would it take playing together to do so?
Probably two, although with the right kit, one practiced drummer could do it. You'd prob need some electronics to really get the punch that these drums have in the mix.
Those drums are heavily processed, it would be hard to play them
One, if it was Jojo Mayer or KJ Sawka
@@Illusions666 electronic drums with the kicks loaded as samples would work :)
Wow. This actually is the truest statement about faith.
i fell out of heaven .. to listen to this in hell .. love it
Jesus saved all of us, it doesn't matter if you love him, hate him, or do not believe in him.
This one❤️❤️❤️❤️

Lol yeah, Jesus would've looked more like Osama bin laden than a white hippy with a beard.
Is this track for sale in MP3/WAVE?

OMG This Tune is soooo SICK !
Still savage in 2023...
in all seriousness, I could download this song and run it through something but just listening I'd guess somewhere in the range of 170-180.

@voikuvoics I'd say it's likely he was middle eastern, considering his (alleged) geographical place of birth
See, when Synthetic Violence threw beats around all crazy like this, people bitched and whined about it, whereas here, everyone loves it. I think a lot of DnB fandom is down to image, not quality of music.
E trip tune
