    1 - He dropped 81 Points
    2 - He dropped 81 Points

    5 - He dropped 81 Points

  • @simonquick3160

Kobe's 81 is by far more impressive then wilts 100. Wilt was a center staying under the rim the whole time, kobe was all over the damn place and only only had 19 points less then wilt. Amazing.

    • @HeiTheDarkReaper
      @HeiTheDarkReaper 8 років тому +44

+Sean Wall wilt chamberlain only played until 1973. Showtime lakers didn't really start until 1979 when magic Johnson got drafted. If you got showtime mixed up with Jerry west's lakers that's still only one team that really poses a threat to Wilt other than Kareem . By the time Kobe was playing, everyone in the league had already watched great players like Michael jordan and learned from it and practiced their entire childhood. Compared to a league that was still pioneering and figuring out strategies, Kobe had to work much harder. Obviously I know a little more than you may have given me credit for, now read a basketball encyclopedia before you start questioning others knowledge.

Kobe is one for the history books, imo he is the goat, he wasn't blessed with the godly talent that mj and lebron had, now bare in mind he was still amazingly skilled and athletic. But he was a lottery pick coming out of high school, he was raw and nowhere near the player he ended up being. Sure he faced trials and tribulations throughout his career, but he persevered and through his outstanding work ethic, carved out a career that is unparalleled. There will never be another Kobe and as much as I've always loathed the Lakers, he has always been a inspiration to me and this is truly a sad day

    3) Scored 55 in 2 quarters

I'll say it, Kobe is at least on the same level of Michael Jordan if not slightly better, now here me out, Jordan had an AMAZING supporting cast every championship he won, Pippen, Rodman, etc. Kobe wasn't so lucky, I mean he had Shaq the first 3 but his last two not so much, I mean Pau Gasol is awesome but he's no Shaq, can't really name any other notable players on that team, Derek Fisher maybe. Not to mention him scoring 81, as far as I know Jordan never scored over that, or came close, maybe 10 or 20 points close to it but not 81 or over. Honestly if Kobe had a better supporting cast he'd have 6 rings, maybe 7 or 8. just my thoughts on the matter, nothing less, nothing more

Wilt was the type of player who would've still attempted 50+ field goals even if the league's pace was slow. Pace has more to do w/ team scoring than individual scoring. Though seven players averaged 25+ ppg w/ five reaching 30+ in 1962, ten players averaged 25+ ppg w/ three reaching 30+ in 2006.

Great, now do a video that proves why Wilt Chamberlain was not human!
Just some of the non-human accomplishments on his resume:
    Wilt's very FIRST
NBA game was a 43 point (on 17-27 shooting), 28 rebound, 17 blocked shots game.
His very LAST game, and in the NBA Finals, was a DOUBLE-DOUBLE, of 23 points
(on 9-16 shooting) with 21 rebounds.
    How about 30-30
games. The entire NBA, in it's history, has had 28 of them. Wilt had 103 by
himself, including TWO in his 71-72 season (his second-to-last season...and one
of them was a 31-32 game against 6-11 HOFer Bob Lanier.)
    40-30 games? The
ENTIRE NBA, in it's long history, has had SIX. How about Wilt? 55 of them
    (including 17 against Russell.)
    50-30 games. Mikan
had two, and Baylor had one. That's it...except for Wilt, who had 21 of them
(and another two in the playoffs...one a 56-35 game five in a best-of-five
series, and the other a 50-35 game in a must win game against Russell's
    Celtics.)
    40-40 games? ONLY
Wilt has achieved that, and he did it EIGHT times (one of them against
    Russell).
    50-40 games.
Obviously, ONLY Wilt, and he did it FOUR times. Included in that was a 78-43
    game.
    126 straight games
    of 25+ points.
    65 straight games
    of 30+ points.
    14 straight games
of 40+ points (which he did TWICE...and he averaged 53 and 54 ppg in those two
    streaks)
    7 straight games
of 50+ points (and another of 6)
    How about this
streak? Wilt scored 351 points over the course of five straight games...or 70
    ppg!
    60+ point games. The
rest of the entire NBA has 32 (MJ and Kobe each have five)...Wilt, with 32.
Included in that is 4 of the 6 at .700+ shooting, including the highest FG% in
    a 60+ point game (.829 on 29-35 shooting.)
    70+ point games.
The entire NBA has FOUR. Wilt had SIX.
    40+ rebounding
games. The entire NBA has 13. Wilt had 15, including the record of 55, in a
game in which he outrebounded Russell, 55-19.
    "Perfect"
games. Wilt has the THREE highest in NBA history (all in the same season, and
games of 15-15, 16-16, and 18-18.) He also made 35 straight shots, which is, by
    far, the all-time NBA record.
Wilt is the most dominant player in NBA history, and its not even close.

Nate Thurmond was 7 foot Hall of Famer who Wilt played against in the 1967 Finals. Walt Bellamy was 7 foot Hall of Famer and Wilt averaged 50+ points in games against him in 1961-62 season. etc. etc. Don't speak about shit you know nothing about.

Red Ace he also never would've scored 100 if his team didn't intentionally foul so he can keep scoring....and not to mention he went to the foul line a good amount of time which caused the game clock to stop and giving him more time to score points...,and don't come talking shit all I said was he was taller than most players which is facts you name 3 players and u think that's good enough wilt was good yes but he wasn't a god THE DUDE WAS 7`1" lol I hope u can score 100 when you shoot that many times and the team you playin can't hold you...

im just saying that he got a three peat with Shaq. he won more with shaq, but i don't think that Kobe's legacy would be affected if shaq didn't go to the lakers, it will just come at a later time if he didn't. But because he won 3 with shaq early in his career, he became the kobe we all know and became one of the best in the world in just his 3rd or 4th year.

i literally cannot stop watching kobe videos. he was my hero since i was like 10 years old. i'm 30 now. he was the first jersey i bought. i lost my best friend since i'm 5 less than a week before kobe's death and then mac millers final album came out which made me think o my best friend while i listened to it beause mac was my favorite too and idk it just felt like those 2 were connected. i got mac's and cried about my friend and mac while i listened. i told my best friend everything. i've been through addiction off and on like the last 11 years and he was the only friend who never judged me and stayed by my side no matter what. he understood and never faulted me. i loved him he was my brother..... so then not even a week later kobe dies who was my absolute hero.
i didn't even realize how big of a hero he was till he died and now i watch him like 30 minutes a day at least. he was such a fucking special person and we finally got to see the real kobe these last few years. the man was a great father, husband (he made mistakes when he was young, but he obviously more than made up for it because she stuck by him and you could tell their love was real.) he great up and became a great person. his whole life was about his daughters and that's a huge part of why he started writing insprirational kids books ( for his kids so they would listen to things he said through the characters since they weren't him which is pretty genius imo.)
The guy was special. watch an interview of him outside of basketball after he retired. he just had his life together. he was so motivated to succeed in everything he did, he would not not take no for an answer and would not give up. he wanted to be the best at what he did no matter what it was or he would surround himself with the best to learn and become great himself. a lot can be learned from kobe and i'm grateful for all these youtube videos because it's helping me grieve m best friend as well as kobe. my best friend was 29 and had a 10 year and the mother isn't around.(she's on drugs and will likely die herself and the girl will be left with no parents. luckily my friend's parents watch the daughter.
also, i had another friend die on february 4th i found out yesterday..... he was supposed to have his first kid in july. he was only 23. life is jsut so unfair. idk what my best friend died of, but i know the 23 year old died of fent overdose i think. it's fucknig tragic. i'm an addict trying to stay clean and in recovery, but i'm scared and don't want to die myself. i think i'll be okay, but you never know. please pray for my family and i. God bless anyone who actually read all this and God bless Kobe's family. This has been the toughest month in a long time for me.

JPD That’s quite a lot of shit that you’re going through!!! I want you to always bare in mind that everyone, everywhere is going through SOMETHING. Just because our struggles aren’t the same, doesn’t mean we feel less pain or less burdened. Just remain strong in your beliefs. When you feel down or uninspired, watch Kobe’s interviews and draw strength and motivation. You can do this!!! If you didn’t have a purpose, you too would be gone. I hope this helps you❤️

Facts about my hero, Kobe Bryant.
    1. He lives and breathes basketball.
    2. His competitive drive is his most powerful skill.
    3. Hate fuels his game.
    4. He wanted to be the best, knew it was a stretch, became LARGER than just being the "best". He became an icon, an inspiration, a legend.
    5. He proved that having a mindset where you always try to be better than who you were yesterday will ALWAYS lead to success no matter the obstacle.
    Thank you for everything, Kobe

Reasons why Kobe is the GOAT. (READ IT ALL BEFORE YOU EVALUATE) After Shaq, Kobe Bean Bryant CARRIED his team. Jordan NEVER had to worry about guarding the best player on the court. Phil Jackson even said Pippen was a greater defender and had to make switches for Michael in the Finals. Jordan/Pippen won 6 .. without each other 0. Jordan retired for baseball and when he came back he retired 3 years later at the same time "coincidentally" Pippen stated he intended to leave the Bulls that year. Kobe in his BEST PRIME had Smush, Odom, Walton, KWAME and Young Bynum.. cmon now. This team minus Kobe was 590394x Worse than this years Lakers. - Kobe should've won MVP of the league in those couple years (including at least one finals MVP with Shaq) but unfortunately Kobe made a mistake and caught himself a case and the NBA can't endorse their "Face of the League" as someone with a recent court case. Fast forward and now he CARRIED us to 3 straight championship appearances. Yes we had Gasol, Bynum, and Ariza/Artest HOWEVER Ariza was not '14 Rockets Ariza, Artest was not in his Prime, and Bynum and Gasol are solid players. They cannot carry their own teams like Pippen with the Blazers/Bulls or like All-Star Caliber Kyrie and Kevin Love or like D Wade and Bosh when they were alone. And Kobe didn't just carry us to some bummy championship games. We dealt with the '08 Celtics with 3 Hall of Famers in their respective Primes and would've won but Bynum and Ariza were hurt then next year the Magic (who beat the Cavs because Lebron couldn't get it done) then we faced the Celtics again and scrapped it out (note that perkins was out game 7). After that? Kobe got dealt a bad card.. We wanted to get Howard and CHRIS PAUL but the league banned that move because they knew we would run the NBA for the next 5+ years. We end up getting a banged up Nash and a hurt Howard (who might not have been hurt if he would've been allowed to come to LA a year before). Then Kobe still has to carry us and has in my opinion the greatest end to a season I have ever seen then he tears his achilles because he gives 150% every night. There is so much more to mention when it comes to Kobe.. he was never as athletically gifted as Jordan, Magic, or Lebron. But he worked for every bit of success he had. We were robbed of seeing the Peak of what should've happened but not because it isn't fair only because life happens. Kobe didn't have a Kyrie to drop 40.. or a Ray Allen off the bench.. he didn't have the ability to get a player kicked out the game after stepping over him intentionally, he didn't have a Pippen to guard someone if he couldn't do it. He made other players great not off of assists or stats. Nah The Mamba made people great because he would run you over if you didn't want it. You take the same team we have now and give it '05-'07 Kobe we see Golden State in the Western Conference Finals and he drops 40 every game. Real Fans know. Black Mamba will always be the Greatest of All-Time. Carried Smush Parker, Chris Mihm, Luke Walton, and Kwame Brown to the playoffs all on the same team. No one else but the Mamba can do that. I got 500,000 More Reasons why the Mamba is #1 (Stats deceive - learn on your own) #MAMBAOUT

  • @jettlaxholly
    @jettlaxholly 8 років тому +5

I hate it soooooo much when you try to adjust stats. Barbossa played the other day and went 5-5 for 10 points, in 7 minutes, so if we adjust that to the 63 attempted shots that wilt made, he would have went 63 -63 for 126 points. So the real question is what is more impressive, Barbossa's adjusted 126 point game, in the playoffs, or wilt's measly unadjusted 100 point non playoff game?
