Definitely hit the nail there. Being poor can also get in the way between one and God and most people will believe that’s not possible and that only wealth can. God does indeed want our heart only. He can make gold pour out of a rock if He wanted to.
I’m seeking guidance should I tackle high-interest debts first or smaller balances for momentum? How can I negotiate with creditors to ease the burden?

The wealthy will get wealthier by raising prices and the poor will get poorer as a result. Christianity and the evangelical White Christian nationalist movement equate faith with usury. Of course, we all want to live life with peace of mind and healthy relationships with others. In our reality, in order to achieve this, money is a determinant factor, more so in societies like in the US. Being an atheist, you see the superficiality and hypocrisy of present day Christianity and all its sects and the Abrahamic religions in general covetousness for gold and capital.
"It's easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God" is a metaphor from the Bible that appears in Matthew 19:24, Mark 10:25, and Luke 18:25. I 100% agree with everything Dave said BUT it's incomplete. I think this scripture is saying that its easier for a poor person to position their heart where God wants it than it is for a rich person to do the same. There's certainly no question that salvation is available to the rich but beware that having much WILL make it much harder for your heart to remain where it needs to be.

We had very little for a long time, then my husband found the courage to leave a job that was apparently really holding him back, because once he left, he more than doubled his salary in about four years. In the reversal of circumstances I've struggled with the perception that you have to be poor to get to heaven, because now I can no longer consider myself poor. The Lord showed me something last summer that was super-interesting: Memories are a key resource he uses to communicate with us. The use of money to arrange the material world in fun ways (like throwing a marshmallow war for the neighborhood kids) is ABSOLUTELY a legitimate use of wealth. Doing kind things, even "wasteful" things like throwing a party, adds to the stock of memories Jesus can use influence people for Truth, Beauty, and Goodness later on.
Fr. I hope he’s not relying on something like some Ais when they’ll sometimes lie like those who use it like it’s all knowing when it’s not; Away from being real with themselves. They’re sick.
The exact reason I decided to start fighting for wealth is because I saw so many poor Christians being ignored by their own brethren (including myself). Someone has to help the poor and I pray someday I can help.
We all can help in ways that don't take money. For example, Big James and Little James in the series The Chosen plowing the land of a gentile with a broken leg. That costed nothing. (James and John weren't directly told to do this in the bible, the show just uses it to help explain a point).
And a third caveat… if you can handle money and faith without the distraction. I’m not sure I could… but I’d love it if I could just buy things for people in need but live simple myself. Thank you Dave! That Prosperity Gospel is such a viscous, diabolical, ungodly trap.

My take away from Scripture is that God wants us to work, be wise, and be responsible stewards of your resources. If you do these things and you end up wealthy, great. Proverbs 30:8b-9 "Give me neither poverty nor riches; Feed me with the food that is my portion, Lest I be full and deny You and say, “Who is Yahweh?” Or lest I be impoverished and steal, And profane the name of my God."
Yet no one wants to be poor. Do we want our children to be poor? No. I think God does care and wants to bless his children... but He will love us regardless of our situation.
People don't "want" to be poor but aren't willing to do the things to stop them from being poor (living paycheck to paycheck). Those that do this, cause their children to feel morally obligated to take care of them financially. These children should go on with their lives and raise their children and have their children go on with their lives.
Well, yeah, if you are wealthy (can vary by net worth and how much money you generate), you have more work to maintain wealth and also have to work more to avoid taxes and plan on your taxes. Other problems include crossing off more people in your circles because some people pursue other people for money and so on.
Let me look at it from another perspective. God has no interest in making us rich. However, God absolutely wants each of us to be exceedingly wealthy, meaning He wants us to work hard and wisely to provide for ourselves and our families while being content with what we have. I'm not saying being rich and being wealthy are totally unrelated, but to me, being rich has to do with a dollar amount while being wealthy is mostly internal.
I think Dave confused a couple of passages. Paul definitely acknowledges that he has been in multiple situations in life including poverty and wealth. But Dave also appears to reference Proverbs Chapter 30 verses 7 through 9
Good answer. God cares about the person. Most of the people I know that I would call rich are weird in various ways. Some of these people call themselves Christians. I don't know if it's because they are rich, but it seems to be a pattern. If they are Christians they seem to have real difficulty walking out their faith according to the Bible as I understand it.
What sets top investors apart from the rest? I've got $385K in equity from a home sale and I'm unsure whether to put it into stocks or wait for a more favorable market condition.
You're correct. I think the smartest way to go is to spread out your investments. By putting your money into different asset classes like bonds, real estate, and stocks from other countries, you can lower the risk if one part of the market goes bad.
Several individuals minimize the importance of counsel until their own feelings become overwhelming. A few summers ago, following a protracted divorce, I needed a significant push to keep my firm afloat. I looked for licensed advisors and found someone with the highest qualifications. Matthew 6:19-24 is a good one. Jesus said - “Stop storing up for yourselves treasures on the earth, where moth and rust consume and where thieves break in and steal. 20 Rather, store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust consumes, and where thieves do not break in and steal. 21 For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. 22 “The lamp of the body is the eye. If, then, your eye is focused, your whole body will be bright. 23 But if your eye is envious, your whole body will be dark. If the light that is in you is really darkness, how great that darkness is! 24 “No one can slave for two masters; for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will stick to the one and despise the other. You cannot slave for God and for Riches”
Don't rent or have a mortgage let other people pay that bill. Real estate. Military. Living at home. Invest the money and grow your bank faster then everyone else.

People don't "want" to be poor but aren't willing to do the things to stop them from being poor (living paycheck to paycheck). Those that do this, cause their children to feel morally obligated to take care of them financially. These children should go on with their lives and raise their children and have their children go on with their lives.
Sometimes it is better to be poor.
Asking a wealthy person if God likes people to be wealthy... Yeah, that's sure to get an unbiased answer.
I think Dave confused a couple of passages. Paul definitely acknowledges that he has been in multiple situations in life including poverty and wealth. But Dave also appears to reference Proverbs Chapter 30 verses 7 through 9
Amen.
Just recently joining in on the fun with the XAI225K gang. Been liking the content, good job ☕️
@2:28 what scripture is dave talikng about???
Just some bs story written thousands of years ago
Philippians 4:11-13 says Paul has learned to be content in whatever circumstance.
@@tjls123😂😂😂 Jesus Christ is Lord 🙏🙏
Google it. It will bring you to Philippians 4.
@@tjls123 Like all other history... Thanks for being so smart....
God wants you to have what you need, not what you want
Good answer. God cares about the person. Most of the people I know that I would call rich are weird in various ways. Some of these people call themselves Christians. I don't know if it's because they are rich, but it seems to be a pattern. If they are Christians they seem to have real difficulty walking out their faith according to the Bible as I understand it.
I knew that gnosticism was ever pervasive, but I never linked it to the modern mentality of demonizing success.
I'm buying the Alemio Network ALM token, I believe it will yield at least 100x this cycle.
She has contributed to my reserve increasing from $275k to $850k despite inflation.
You seem to know the market better than we do, so that makes great sense. Who is the guide?
Actually its a Lady. Yes my go to person is a ‘Stacy Lynn Staples '. So easy and compassionate Lady. You should take a look at her work.
I just Googled her name and her website came up right away. It looks interesting so far. I sent her an email and i hope she responds soon. Thanks
Be careful ... Jesus said, "It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God"
Yes in the video, he is teaching to not put money over God. Being a manager of the money not an owner of the money.
Don't rent or have a mortgage let other people pay that bill. Real estate. Military. Living at home. Invest the money and grow your bank faster then everyone else.
More Dave+Ken!
It's not up to God if we become wealthy or not. Our decisions will make us wealthy.
And God allows us to make those decisions. If he did not want you to make then, he would not have given you a brain capable of making them.
God has foreknowledge and can choose to take away money or not. You do realize he lifts nations and crumbles them?
Stop with the God nonsense of he helps everyone. There's good and evil in this world and God doesn't always help
All scripture speaks against "the rich man." And it's in the context of the rich man finding it difficult to be of God.
What matters where an earth we dwell? On mountaintop or in the dell? In cottage or a mansion fair? Where Jesus is, my joy is there.
