- Lymphoma Action and Leukaemia Care are back with our next joint webinar. These webinars are for those living with a lymphoma or leukaemia diagnosis.
The aim of this webinar was to support chronic lymphocytic leukaemia (CLL) patients to live well with their diagnosis.
We discussed topics such as how to monitor your health, coping mechanisms such as mindfulness or exercise and how and when to reach out for support. After the webinar, you should feel like you have tools and knowledge to live well alongside your CLL.
We were joined by:
Professor Chris Fegan, University Hospital Wales
Helen Knight, CLL CNS Nottingham University Hospitals Trust
John Greensmyth, CLL patient
Jackie Martin, CLL patient
Very helpful especially re the initial "treatment" of watch and wait, not able to share and feeling I am a nuisance. Great explanations. Have not had this kind of input/help from my Dr. Thank you!
Very helpful and informative. Thank you all
Hey Jackie, IAM New Zealand Observer here. I don't want to give up what I do with training motorcyclists but I know that might be out of my control. Hope you are back on a bike paying it forward. I ride a Vstrom 1000. I'm looking at SSL diagnosis at the moment. Waiting on Bone marrow results in the next week or so.
