One of my favorite games. I "only" miss the Deathwing expansion but even used is too expensive, let alone unused. Awesome 9.9/10 video, Nathan, thanks - it was pleasure to watch despite knowing everything myself. I am a huge 40k fan and I also know some specific lore details that are making me love the game even more. But one way or the other everyone can enjoy the game, because of the brilliant gameplay design. Corey Konieczka at its finest.
@@ChronoRadio Ha! I just played Heroes of the Sanctum earlier. I now sat in front of the PC and I saw you asked me about the game. What a coincidence. I played the Soulbreaker quest for the first time. It's my first Hard quest. Played only the Normal quests prior. I felt Soulbreaker (Hard) actually easier than Defend The Iron Fort (Normal). Maybe because it's only 1 Region and the Fort is 3. I backed all the Heroes of the Sanctum content myself and can't wait for the Season 2 next year. I was about to ask you if you are planning to make a video playthrough of Heroes of the Sanctum when I saw I am not subscribed, so I checked your videos and I saw you made a Heroes of the Sanctum video 6 days ago. Awesome. I am gonna watch it (and maybe comment on it if I have what to comment). And this time I will not forget to click the subscribe button. P.S. Aaahh yes the Heroes of the Sanctum comparison to Space Hulk: Death Angel is natural. Proper card games in a nutshell.
I’ll finish watching this later, but I can already tell this will be an extensive video on this game! And to have all 4 expansions…. Epic (and rare!) **Edit** Yea the best overview I’ve ever seen on this game. I didn’t know there were 2 printings, I’ll check mine, thanks for that identification. I’ll be keeping an eye out for expansions, but refuse to pay crazy money on them.
Honestly, I *almost* tried to hunt down a second printing so I could show the version with the symbols, but I had to restrain myself. "People will understand. You don't need to buy everything. Relax, Nathan."
I bought it second-hand with all expansions and already sleeved. I *believe* that the sleeves used were the recommended ones on the box, the now-discontinued FFG "green" (Standard American Board Game, 57 x 89 mm) sleeves.

I'd be curious if you ever get into Heroes of the Sanctum. Something about it keeps getting me and others to compare it to SHDA.

Well done!
Great video!
Really nice video. I printed the whole thing for 20bucks lol
Oh yeah. I think I've played this.
what sleeves do you use?
