Brilliant video Mr Drone. The audio brought the whole video together. The sound of the bombs the planes and explosions gave an atmosphere of what it must of been like the night the church was destroyed. I could almost picture the flames. Once again brilliant 👏
I lived though that period when the Nazi 'planes flew up Cardigan Bay turning right at Barmouth and as there was no radar they followed the rivers Mawdach and Dee to Merseyside. Merseysiders had only 20 minutes warning provided by the Royal Observer Corps via the plotting station in Caernarfon Castle dungeon. The RAF had huts built by my father on high ground along the route with a direct phone link to Caernarfon. My father volunteered to take command of that area and staff the huts with full time and part timers such as teachers, shop keepers etc. During the worst 10 days of bombing there were 4000 deaths but without the ROC warnings that could have been ten times worse. Thank you Mr Drone for reviving those memories.
Greetings from Georgia Nick, This video brought back many memories I used to walk past this church on most days depending on what route I took to work in Jamaica St when I was an apprentice in the 1960s. I used to wonder when they would get around to demolishing it, luckily that didn't happen, it is a great memorial to the people who lost their lives and who worked in the city during the May Blitz, my Mam & Dad included who worked in an arms factory just streets away from the church.
Wow, great video again, the music linked with the recording really brought it together, you can imagine how the feeling must be then, and now in Ukraine.
gotta love this channel, it got everything. found you first when i was looking for anfield updates, and now watching all the videos you upload and its been brilliant
Great footage and what an amazing audio clip! Never heard that before, just brings home how scary it must have been not knowing where the bombs would land. Our ancestors were truly brave enduring all that.💪🏻😊
Another great video, helping people to learn the history of the city. The sound recording is,as you said, amazing and really adds to the atmosphere. One of your best.
Wow amazing drone footage .. the sound recording during the the may blitz gave me goosebumps .. That brave BBC sound engineer is a lot braver than i would be ..

I’ve been wanting to do this church myself, but am still fairly new to flying and am still a bit apprehensive of flying close to the buildings. Your videos are amazing
Hello. My name is Alexey. I really liked your video. Can I use footage from your video in my video about the history of England and Liverpool? I'll be sure to link to your channel. With best regards.
@@misterdroneuk I'm glad you agreed. A video about the history of England, where I used a fragment of your video, has gained more than 80 thousand views. I watch your videos, I like the way you shoot. I am interested in the history of cities, so I want to ask a question. Have you ever heard the version that the battle of Waterloo was not in Belgium, but in England?
Nick FYI The church has an ancient foundation, preceding the Norman conquest, and a church on the site is recorded in the Domesday Book. This church was replaced in 1766 by a Georgian chapel. This was replaced in turn by the present church that was built between 1869 and 1871.It was designed by the Lancaster architects Paley and Austin. The initial estimate was for £10,000, but the cost rose to £12,000 (equivalent to £1,140,000 in 2020), and was paid for by the 4th Earl of Sefton. It provided seating for 650 people. The stone used for its construction was taken from the Earl's own quarries.
Cool mate, where I am, Liverpool, Sydney, there's a 203 year old st Luke's church that I have uploaded inside and out on this channel, outside there is a monster genetic DNA experiment part 10 different animals I have uploaded too,it's the oldest Anglican church in Australia I think, LoL 💀☠️👽📷🎥🌋🔥🍷

As he pans round, up near the top you can see the Chinese Arch. Perhaps deserves its own video.

i found the bbc man very sad what he was going through,
Can you maybe film one of the starforts at Dover???
Did you find the seagulls much trouble whilst you were flying around there? I'm always too scared to fly near them!
No mate it was quite quiet in this location when I was there
Did you do your drone qualification online? I’m thinking about going for it as i’m getting bored of not being able to fly over built up areas.
During the blitz , my mom’s family were in the shelter, while grandad manned the few anti aircraft guns they had . I still have a piece of shrapnel.
Imagine them poor people in Ukraine are goin tru that right now!stunning video Mr drone!your a star

Playing Drone in Liverpool is needed license or not?
Really touching. Highlights the absolute barbarity of bombing cities full of men, women and children.
