What if I get white spots in the CA inlay part? It's like every ring and I can't get rid of them! I pop them scrape, sand, and refill with CA and it's still there. So frustrating I quit making rings
That is frustrating! I started adding more thin glue in my inlay before any sanding. Also If I can avoid it I try to not sand my inlay at all before I apply a clear coat...I do also try dabbing with a bit of acetone if I notice some spots.
Thanks for doing this. I’ve been having this issue recently. 👍🏻
Hopefully this helps you out a little!
Question- What is the reasoning to apply accelerator before the drop of CA, as opposed to afterwards?
Because it's a large drop it helps cure the inside as well as the outside of the CA.
