Rotax 912iS fuel pump assembly repair

The fuel pump assembly mounting bolts are all damaged and loose. Follow along as I dismantle the pump assembly using a “nut splitter” tool to ensure a no damage repair. The bolts are replaced and welded in place. The fuel pump is then ready to be placed back into service.

I haven't seen a nut splitter in ages! It's not a common tool but is one that can certainly save a ton of work in the right circumstances.

I remember using it 40 years ago on Chevy pick up truck front shock absorber lower mounting nuts.
