I am one who cannot toss a scrap! So, I will be having so much fun trying all these techniques! Thank you so much, Lorraine, for another wonderful video!
You make some really beautiful cards and explain clearly how to do them, Lorraine. Thank you. These are such cheerful designs and I'll definitely be trying them out.
Thank you, Debbie! I thought the same thing about masculine cards. I am particularly fond of the ones here, and you are correct....so easy...just look through your scraps and don't think too hard on it! Have fun, and thanks for your comment.
Such great ideas, Lorraine. Thanks so much for the inspiration. Since I’m a complete newbie, I keep cutting the wrong size of paper and end up with so many scraps. I can now use them well. 😅
That's ok! No matter what your experience is, you still end up with plenty of scraps! I am about to offer a Stamper's Boot Camp class geared toward "newbies." If you are interested, make sure you are on my email list so you get notifications. Sign up from StampWithLorraine.com. you will get a free tutorial when you do.
Hi Melissa! Welcome to my channel and thanks for your comments. I'm glad you enjoy it and hope I can continue to inspire you. Feel free to sign up for my newsletter by going to my blog and clicking in the sidebar. Happy Stamping and use those scraps!😉
I'm so glad you are inspired by this! Have fun and use up those scraps. They really do go a long way. I have a new post on my FB page about using scraps. Feel free to reply and share your creations!
I like to emboss mine with different patterns, maybe all the same color being one pattern, another color in its own pattern, etc., then glue them down. If you lay the strips diagonally on the folder, you can emboss longer strips. Or, emboss the whole panel when finished. I Iove using my die cut words.and alphabets. If I don't have the whole word, I can always spell it out. I also like to inlay them in the little banner. Some words are tiny, so good for putting on embellishements, then onto a card, giftbag, etc
Hi Lorraine, I just discovered tou on youtube and LOVE your "simple" card ideas. They are simple but elegant. I'm going to be using lots of your ideas. Thanks for your channel.
I love these ideas! So simple. Quick. Cutting back onwaste. I especially like the way you did the rainbow glimmer paper on an adhesive sheet. Thank you for this video.
I store my scraps the same way. The larger pieces go in a page protector on top of the new pieces, and the smaller pieces go inside a sandwich bag inside the page protector.
To bkabarbieboop: Thank you so much for your comment. I'm so glad you really enjoyed the scrap ideas. It seems once you get started on it, the ideas just keep coming! Thanks for sharing it with your group. I hope they all create fabulous things with scraps. Are you a demonstrator? (For some reason I see your comment only in my notifications and not here on the comments. 🤔)
Thank you, Jane! I don't like wasting anything! Not that I'm cheap, but I love being frugal and it's a fun challenge for me to find ways to use every bit creatively!😄 I'm the person who saves paper towel rolls and plastic containers too!🤣
I use Tombo Multi-Purpose Glue. If adhered to something when it's wet, it is permanent. If it is allowed to dry a bit before adhering to something, it is a temporary glue, which is great for trying positions of your cardstock and layouts before permanently gluing them down. It also has two tips... a fine tip and a spreading tip.

Thank you, Debbie! I thought the same thing about masculine cards. I am particularly fond of the ones here, and you are correct....so easy...just look through your scraps and don't think too hard on it! Have fun, and thanks for your comment.
Hi. Yes, I think coming up with ideas for masculine cards is particularly tricky. It's so hard for me to hold off on the bling!

I like your method. I do the same, and put those plastic envelope of strips in the folder with the actual color as I am limited on space.
Nice! I just think it makes sense. Why go to two different places to see if you have the right size scrap? Happy stamping!
