Great cards, bright and beautiful. I really like the idea of running them through with an embossing folder for additional texture and interest. Thank you, Connie for showcasing these fab cards. 🥰🇨🇦🥰
Hi Connie, What cute cards. I love that we can use up our scraps and not throw them away. I also like the way you conserve paper by cutting out from hidden layers. Thank you for sharing your tips, tricks, creativity and talents with us. God bless you looking forward to your live video on Thursday and really looking forward to the retreat this weekend. All of you ladies are truly amazing.
I love your use of scraps! I have tons of scraps. I never thought to emboss them. What a beautiful difference that makes. Thank you! Just love your creativity💖💖💖
LOVE any scraps ideas. Isn’t it a great feeling to create something from scraps? Your fun fold rainbow is beautiful. Love it. Oops gotta go…notice Connie Stewart Live coming up! 😊
Love this! I have been collecting scraps for years (from scrapbooking). 2 colorized file drawers, heaping full! This is such a great help. Thank you Connie.
Another great video Connie. Thank you. I love how you do the sentiment stamped and cut from the under panel card. I have cut a rectangle , oval etc depending on the shape I am using leaving enough boarder to save on specialty paper like mirror board or favorite card stock to use on another card . It also helps to reduce the weight of the card for mailing so it is a 2 for 1 bonus. ❤
This is such a great idea. Started working on some already. Just as and FYI- If anyone has old phone message pads out there that were used before voicemail, those are exactly 5 1/2 x 4 1/4! I have a whole bunch of them my hubby brought home from work some time ago.
😊I watched one of your older videos where you made Easter bonnets using peanut butter cups & you showed how to make double loop bows. Thank you so much for that tip. It makes perfect bows every time & you can also make them very tiny.
I really like scrap cards. Emboss them, die cut them and put them on your card front! Omg..Connie, that stamp set and dies is what I was thinking of using when I started watching your video!
Good idea to put the scraps on photocopying paper as it won’t be so thick when you trim it. Lovely cards and quick to make once you’ve done the background. Thanks Connie 😊
Love these suggestions. 💕I like to make quilt designs with my leftovers...especially when I have some designer paper to include. I even pull out my ruler and put some random dots in rows so it looks like stitches.
Luv the cards. I have used a number of you techniques on my cards. I esp like the one cutting out dies from layering piece. The other one is how to use rectangular dies to either a longer or shorter rectangular.
Oh yes - all those scrap pieces! Need to just spend some time making some bases as you suggested…then they will be there (if I can find them!) when I want a quick card! By the way - I sent quite a few napkin fold cards out for Easter - brought lots of smiles!
