Should I buy an SGB from the stock exchange?

How can we liquidate SGB in emergency? How does SGB fulfill the purpose of emergency bad times?

In extreme bad time physical gold will only help. If government fails then SGB can also fail but chances are very minimal. You can also buy gold bars where jeweller commission is very nominal.
