Thank you sir for the clear explanation and differentiation. I enjoyed your example of comparison with Aircraft. Your videos give a very good understanding of concepts for beginners like me. :)
Very nice to understand. Could you please inform me 3 things. 1- To get the maximum benefits from mutual funds, for min how many years will I have to keep my SIP on and the MARS on. 2- If in case I want to redeem some amount is it better to redeem when the markets are up or down. 3- and last one is , when money is redeemed where does it get deducted from , invested amount or current value. Thanks.

There are professional experts for equity shares who manage your portfolio, returns are much higher and lucrative in equity shares than mutual funds where the risk maybe slightly less.
probably this is the first time ,i experienced an well articulated n very simply explained topics on shares and MFs by a distinguished fin. consultant ; It's a great beneficial lesson to me indeed !Thank u so much sir !💐
as you said, the firm can close business and shares can be lost permanently. any such similar situation in MF, that MF Co is closed? what will happen to investment if MF Co closes?
It will not happen. If a mutual fund has to close , it will merge with another mutual fund house . Plenty of such examples are available. Ypu wont lose money because of closure of a fund house
MF returns are not always perfect and for years only 4/5 stocks drive the market to higher level and MF become underperformer for ,,4/5 year as in the recent past. MF or equity gives handsome return only when investment is done on each decline and large deployment on major decline. For rest period a Nippon large cap fund type MF scheme may be a value destroyer. The video content is an ideal video and I also thought the same way but after seeing the market for 12 year the fundamental thinking has got changed. For a new person MF scheme shall be bought from 3/4 fund manager or fund house. Some are follower of growth funds and some are follower of value funda.
Your last comment to compare buying and aircraft or travelling by commercial airlines with investing in stocks and MF is very good and I liked it a lot. I will appreciate if you can present or give a link to a video where various types of MF with varying risk appetite is detailed out for learning.
Mutual funds may give you hardly 1 to 2% more returns than FDs... but chance are there that you can lose your money too. so just for nominal more returns why to take risks?.. FD is way better.. and if you wanna take risk then go for shares... as your returns can be too good than FDs.. I see no point in investing in mutual funds for a little more returns.. why to take risk?
@@NRIMoneyClinic Thanks lot, Please tell me,if I have lot of money, should I invest in share or in mutual fund. But I don't want to take big risk.If company will get loss, then share will get loss, with it mutual fund will be loss, how the company can give you dividend?
