Here's where it gets confusing, the foreign/alien god is not the same creature as the Lovecraftian outer gods. THE foreign god is being classified as a beast on par with Goetia. The outer gods, on the other hand, are an unknown since we never had one completely reach our world.
I won't say she isn't good. She is chaotic good, but only because 1 evil act spoils all the good she does which honestly isn't that bad especially when you read her interlude coming in 2023. It might be better just think that the real in history Yang is acensions 1~2, while acension 3 is Chutlga when eldirtch power is at max.
@@LocoCocoaBrah this is incorrect though, they make it clear her whole devotion to the Master is because she was messed in the head by the Outer Gods from the start. And in this event we merely manipulated the settings so that she’d have to fulfill certain requirements to satisfy her “Emperor”. So Foreigner Yang is 100% still crazy deep down inside, unlike the rest of the Foreigners (which is funny considering the bundle of issues Van Gogh suffers from).
@@KhanMann66 Though unlike most other servants the Foreigner version is flat out stated to have been artificially modified to only obey her patron God, and we keep her under control through a combination of her madness making her think the Master is her “Emperor” and what boils down to a list of hypnotic suggestions that forbid her from doing certain actions. I would understand if someone gets disillusioned that their apparently devoted and nice character is actually a backstabbing time bomb created by the Outer Gods. Although, she IS the woman who rose to fame for being labeled as a destroyer of Empires so don’t know what they expected..
@@lenleon3699 This is my own option, but what Wu did was much less hypnotic suggestion and more akin to changing performance settings on a machine. For example if you change setting on a computer to use less resources, the computer will function, but instead you will experience a drop in performance. Yang at the end of event still remembers her emperor, and even refers to protag as since in her 3rd ascension. But after the tweaking of her spirit origin she is less prone to "doing the death do you part" bit sooner according to Wu. Plus if they were to use hypnotic suggestion it would make more sense to make Yang forget her foreign god entirely as to greatly minimize the risk of Cthugha. I can see why they didn't do this from a narrative perspective as it would take away from any character development if we just "poof" any issues a character would have. Van gogh did say that Yang human half is about 10% of the servant, so by growing stronger i.e. Character Development, there will be a time where Yang will develop a resistance to outer god influence like the outer foreigners which would be much better to see. IDK i guess im just a fan of characters that overcome some type of trauma.

Hello! Back again after working through abandonment issues (I was I was joking), I return. Ah, yes, the Imaginary Scramble. First thing that caught me, it was actually nice to see Scathach-Skadi being a fish out of...or perhaps in imaginary water, for a change. You don't usually see Servants being pushed into scenarios that tug them out of their usual comfort zone. Usually, it's Robin Hood who gets put into these kinds of situations, and it's just for an event's recurring punchline. Scathach-Skadi having to struggle with Scathach's bathing suit giving her an (in her opinion) unseemingly appearance, to say nothing about getting used to a fighting style very much outside her wheel house, was a nice bit of levity in an otherwise serious storyline. I was a bit iffy on Van Gogh at first. I don't hate gender-bend characters; if anything, I find the premise alone fascinating. But genderbending Van Gogh for no immediate discernable reason did turn me cold to the character initially. I say initially, because I did warm up to her considerably by the end. And getting her twice in a single gacha pull didn't hurt, either. (Gotta say, the Curse premise behind her is interesting...) It was interesting to see Sion and Da Vinci take the protag's powers of charm for granted like that. It never really occurs to them that the enemy might actually try to turn it against him. I mean, it's good that they have faith in him/her/us/etc., but it's still dangerous thinking. All that being said, the drive to save Van Gogh was nice to see, but it did give me pause, because it brought me back to the plight of U-Olga Marie. I'll be blunt; I don't really have any hopes of them actually saving her, or if they do, it'll be swiftly followed with her death. Funny how this series works: destruction seems to be relatively cost-free, while creation and restoration seems to require sacrificing lives. Like restoring the Earth from being a Tabula Rasa. I mean, I get that things usually come at a cost, but you'd think that usually follow with an act of destruction resulting in some sort of consequence, even if that act of destruction is not necessarily malicious. (I'll be honest: I don't really know if I'm making sense here.) Anyway, let's go over to composite spirits. There are actually two I've been wanting to see. For starters, Fa Mulan from China. Apparently, she was an actual historical figure. While it was still forbidden for women to join the Chinese army, she not only managed to do just that while pretending to be a man, she managed to have an extremely successful military career spanning ten whole years, in which she successfully repelled the invading Hun army. She was never caught, and safely retired. Now, as for who I'd combine her with, I'm not really sure. Ares, the Greek God of War, comes to mind first and foremost, despite his appearance as a mech in Lostbelt 5. I'd make her an interesting foil for Altera. But beyond that, no ideas at the moment. The other one is...decidedly less likely, if only because of how painfully Lawful Good the series can be at times. I'd like to see Arsene Lupin make the scene. I mean, if a fictional character such as Holmes can be made "real", why not Lupin? Especially since he fits so neatly between Holmes, with his heavy-handed sense of righteousness, and Moriarty, with anything-goes approach, as force of reckoning all his own. Especially since, despite the series favoring mysteries at times, there are a distinct lack of characters that survive on guile, trickery, manipulation, and generally playing more powerful men for fools, rather than utilizing destructive forces or reality-warping powers. (I still find it hard to swallow that Holmes has a power that causes genuine evidence to manifest before him. That completely goes against the very idea of a detective...! And don't even get me started on...ugh...Doctor Heartless...!) All that being said, Lupin was always a thief, and the series, for all its grey-area morality discussions, is staunchly opposed to stealing for some very strange reason...and Lupin has always been known to be against the idea of killing, which may not mix well with a series that has always justified its approach to sacrificing lives and killing-or-be-killed. That being said, we were talking about composite spirits...Unfortunately, I don't have any ideas on who I would link Lupin with, and at the time of writing...er, typing, I don't have time to sit down a think right now, so I'll have to come back to it later. Still, I wouldn't mind seeing a more naturally chaotic character visit the scene that is Chaldea...
kinda funny how in the extra act we have to fight more Foreigners possessed by their eldritch abomination and then there's MHXX who's been entranced by the blockchain
as a dutch guy and i know how hard dutch is how I hate how people say dutch words its just murdereing the word but then again how am I to care that much

I should have mentioned it. I implied he wasn't coming because he wasn't a "real" foreigner lol
@@otakudaikun Voyager’s class is weird to begin with since in Requiem he is, just like Gilgamesh in CCC, his own class. And this comes from a work where a Foreigner exists so it’s not like they do not know the tell-tale signs if one. In other words he should not be one, period. They should have just labeled him Voyager, even if his weaknesses and strengths were just a copy-paste of a Foreigner.
@@otakudaikun I mean, he's to foreigners what they are to us, right? Unless I misunderstood his lore. I thought the trick with XX and him was that they are symbols of the servant verse or our universe respectively, or something like that? So they can bring "the big circle" with them if they were to leave it.
...I probably got a ton of that wrong or misinterpreted it.
@@Boyboy-fr7uz they're like representatives of their respective universes, but still quite different than being connected to an outer god.
Could you do a mage craft video on black magic, I know you did one on curses but in your witchcraft video you mentioned black magic as being a type of magic that encompasses curses and witchcraft and I am interested in hearing your u talk about black magic and magic used by Gil de rias and his master franswa
I'll look into it. I wonder if there's enough material.
So it was an among us event because an alien wants to take over Earth.
18:06 Joke character or not, I really loved Osakabehime as a character. Glad she got a main role at least. Now if only we can get a rerun of Imaginary Scramble… I was suffering from severe fatigue at the time (partly post Covid related) and couldn’t get to complete it V_V
Real talk, when I first heard about the Novel that Voyager was from. before we knew what he was I made a call based off tropes and his 'class/title' as Voyager... and thought he was going to literally Satan... because Iv'e seen so many depictions of Satan /Lucifer (or variations) as a small beautiful young boy clad in gold and white... in anime... so I was like' HE IS LITERALLY SATAN' and found out he was fucking space craft... device... satelite... I wasn't sure whether I should have been happy or disappointed lol. (Projet mouthwash's fate abridged had little to no weight on this conclusion I swear)
41:46 Kira Yoshikage would love this
I hope the Camelot Losbelt will be discussing soon ♥️
It's gotta reach NA first.
I’m simping for Morgan for sure.
Wasn't the Chaldea Xiang Yu the pan human history summoned in his lostbelt body?
That's what Ive heard.
I thought the Xiang Yu we summoned was like Ivan? The PHH version in their Lostbelt form's body
Is that so? Either way, he's got his clairvoyance through computation.
@@otakudaikun yes he is correct. PHH Xiang Yu was also an Android which was their explanation to why he chose to become a brutal conqueror (he searched for an answer to how to stop the wars and deduced he needed to create an enemy everyone would team up to defeat). I think the Lostbelt version even said he used to have a human body in the past too.
@@lenleon3699 I'm assuming he went robo AFTER spending a good amount of time with Yu Mei Ren, because we have illustrations of his human form with her.
@@otakudaikun Oh yes. He was artificial to begin with (as humanoid as Nezha's body) but the multiple armed centaur form we see is what he arrived at after after being modified in what seems to be smaller steps to increase his effectiveness over more than 2000 years.
@@otakudaikun No no, he was CREATED a robot. Just like Nezha’s second body. Xiang Yu in PHH was a robot the Emperor left abandoned until his “father” found the lab, activated him, and decided to use him as a general in war. He looked human until his death.
36:11 and subtly showing her true intentions
Hi could you do a magecraft episode on dark magic, you did on one on curses and another on witchcraft but in the witch craft episode you mentioned that witch craft is a form of black magic and the same goes for curses so that mean that there is a general category for black magic that I think should get it own episode. Also I am a little new to the fate franchise so I wanted to ask if you could explain more on the art of necromancy because one of the facet in the video that I was interested was not touched on that much, that bing exaples or an in depth explanation of necromancy being used to reanimate the dead you explained that it can do that and mage can craft circuits into the dead body but you only said that about it, is there very little information on this process that you could not give more details
I love your mage craft video a lot but I find that I love the video on the more darker aspect of mage craft the most like the curse and black magic the most so I would love to watch more videos about magic that is more darker in nature
I'll try. If there's enough material I'll definitely cover it.
Not that I'm complaining, in fact I'm glad to finally got a new chapter in the Fate/Grand Order series.
But how long do you think it will be before we can finally tackle the next lost belt?
When it comes to NA, which is always two years from its JP release.
@@otakudaikun I see. Well, I just hope it's worth the wait.
@@benjaminfeld6388 if you want a clear number, our next one comes either this week or next one (Lostbelt 5.5) and then the first part of Lostbelt 6 begins around April or May.

So, when are you showing us how get even with Ashiya Douman, Dia? (Meaning when will you stream the Heian-kyo Event?)
Maybe tomorrow.
10:09 school didn’t teach me this who says fate doesn’t teach us things
(fates thought me more that the American school system ever did)
Technically, Dai has taught you more than school
Dai just glossed over how MHXX reacted to the eldritch energy. He really dislikes zany self referential stuff "invading" lore sections it seems.
Didn't she say it didn't really do anything to her? She just got caught up in the moment and tried to make money, right? It seemed like a big joke.
Under the sea and battleship in a nutshell..
JUSTT IN TIMEEE
More lore videos! It’s a good day😊
Don't suppose you could do a Guda-Guda lore, please?
agreed I have next to no idea what the heck guda guda is supposed to be anyway so some context would be seriously appreciated.
@@azuredragon9276 That's kinda why I haven't done it yet.
@@otakudaikun Well, you can wait until Fate/Redline gets more finished then since a lot of newer GudaGuda content draws from the characters from it, and they are more fleshed out there.
Quick question who do you think is stronger a Beast class an ultimate one or a foreign god I don't get it ?
Here's where it gets confusing, the foreign/alien god is not the same creature as the Lovecraftian outer gods. THE foreign god is being classified as a beast on par with Goetia. The outer gods, on the other hand, are an unknown since we never had one completely reach our world.
I was hoping the whales would be called Bahamut or something.
I grailed yang becuase i thought she was a good character then i reached the end i felt brtrayed
To be fair what’s she did is really small in comparison to what many other servants have done.
Why is there a self-destruct sequence installed? This is not the original alien movie with Sigourney Weaver.
Aliens had one too lol. Actually, that was a reactor meltdown.
@@otakudaikun I'm talking about the first movie where they set the ship to explode and the xenomorph ends up on the escape pod anyway

I never play the event reason? To confusing butt I got van goh on the current banner also at 39:42 “deeming her self to be a menace” something I never heard in my entire life he said that
I am really late to the party, but wasn't Abigail recommended to co by TRismegistus? I could have sworn Da Vinci, Sherlock and Sion discussed gow they could not begin to see why Abigail was recommended and that she should stay here.
That sounds like what I remember. I may have glossed over that to avoid getting bogged by details.
Basically Fgo Barotrauma
(Gotta say, the Curse premise behind her is interesting...)
It was interesting to see Sion and Da Vinci take the protag's powers of charm for granted like that.
(I'll be honest: I don't really know if I'm making sense here.)
Anyway, let's go over to composite spirits.
So lostbelt 5.5: realm of hell mandela story?
I'm streaming it today, actually.
