Xenos operates in Columbus Ohio and focuses it's outreach near the Ohio State University and Columbus State. Other things not listed in this video: The Lawsuit against Xenos, The Beach Drownings, The Ministry House Living Conditions, The treatment of Mental Health in Xenos, the Suicides, the Xenos view on Suicide, and many other subjects.
I wanted this video to rather simple, in future videos I would like to add more video elements and motion, but wanted to create a cut and dry explanation of some of the red flags that people should be aware about Xenos.

What about helping people leave? I was involved with this group around 1989 1990. Now I know somebody who is concerned about their son that is involved with it. I also have a lot of interesting evidence about this group. Do you have an email?

I grew up in this group. While there are many groups within that are true believing and loving believers, much of the church is quite harmful. Many groups like the ones I mentioned get "dissolved" by the leadership. While I can not deny the abuse, being a victim of it myself, along with my family, I also can not damn the entirety of the community. The fault lies mainly in the failure of the leadership to ensure a succession of grace- based, spirituality mature, qualified deacons. The gospel of Christ is presented, but heavily overshadowed by fatally judgemental religiosity. It breaks my heart to finally admit this publicly, and in someways to myself, as I have lived so long defending the very organization that dehumanized and shamed me and my family. There are many members of Xenos who are wonderful, loving, kind Christians- predominantly of my parents' generation, and scholarship within the school system is exemplary. Xenos has tragically become an abusive cult, but there remain sparks in its lamp.
Some home church get dissolved because they didn't grow fast enough.

I met people like this at Columbus State. They are the most twisted, evil, and racist people I have ever met.
Back in 90,s the elders went bonkers over a book people were reading called toxic Faith, healing from spiritual abuse. The fired the whole counciling department that day.

Dude one of my friends got into this and i would go hangout with him at his house full of 10 other guys and im telling you i have NEVER felt so uncomfortable in my life. I made sure they knew i dont belive in god and they tried to push it on me so hard. I told them over and over again that i believe when you die you die and thats it and they told me over and over that i was wrong. I remember it like it was yesterday. Me my friend and like 2 other guys went out to smoke a cigarette and by the time i got out there the only chair left was in the corner and they all took turns asking my why i dont belive in god and that i was basically stupid for not and it got so bad that i basically just said fuck it ill "pray to receive christ" just for them to stop. That was maybe 2 years ago and i havnt gone back nor have i heard from anyone there untill just last week when my friend texted me wanting to hang out. Dont fall for anything they tell you. This video is 100% true.

Whenever I go to one of there homechurches I am surronded by loving people. I have been going out for over 3 years and I have never had any of these bad vibes.

It must be a joke because one of my closest friends I've known since 12 got sucked into this. She is humiliated and ruined and it manipulated what mental instabilities she already had. Xenos is sick.
I've been going to xenos for about 8 months and when I first came around and debated with them, they debated with pure logic, and still do. Specifically the leaders. They debated so well and used such good logic that I actually switched from being a hardcore determinist to someone who believes in free will. I have had many in-depth conversations with people from the church and they all have an amazing grasp of the Bible's historical, and ethical evidence for Christ. Go out and have a debate with some of these people. They are very knowledgeable.

I always hung out with Xenos kids and I never experienced any of this. People have a choice, go or don't go, believe or don't believe. Nobody is forcing you to do anything lmao.

Honestly i go to Dwell and i disagree. When my heart wasn’t right with God i felt anger and bitterness towards my group. But when i decided to get myself backup everything was more clear and i felt more at peace. I struggle with depression and many other mental illnesses and my group has been nothing but supportive. Everyone’s story is different, i personally just think that none of us even the leaders are perfect and just like any other church there is bad apples. I empathize with those who’ve left but the many i have seen left don’t even follow God no more and have changed, some I’ve heard faked their friendship with me. Things like this has happened to me everywhere not just Dwell. To those who have left Dwell i wish they would find healing and a new church family that fits them. Most college leaders are young and need to discuss how to handle issues amongst each other to find the best solution. I hope and pray that our church only gets better. If i were to become a leader reading these comments helps empathize on what people struggle with. No church is perfect, I’ve had far worse experiences in other churches. Dwell is the only church I’ve been to, that has a program for those 21-35 in age. Most churches IGNORE that age group, unless they are married.

You have described no activity that is outside the realm and precepts of any Christian church or Christian scripture. If you’re against Christianity, fine, just say so. But not only have you not described any activity that actually falls remotely under the precepts of cult-like behavior, you present zero evidence.of your claims. The fact that you have only 60 subscribers seems to indicate that you have a small cult of your own going on, and it’s probably made up of disaffected former members who were excised from the church as prescribed by Paul for those falling outside of scriptural guidelines for members of the Christian church overall . Your allegation that members of the church do not necessarily stay friends with people who have left It’s not a universal thing. Such decisions are made depending on whether the person left voluntarily and continues to pursue a Christian life, or if they left because they Disgraced themselves, falling into sinful patterns they refused to change. Paul makes it clear that fellowship should be refused for serious unrepentantly sinful behavior.I haven’t attended a church yet that does not do the same thing. I’ve also seen many, many people leave the church,Usually to attend another church, who have stayed friends with everyone they know at Xenos. I’ve attended churches of many faiths , have a thorough knowledge of Biblical doctrine , and there is absolutely nothing taught at Xenos that conflicts with the Bible. Tracie, you’re mistaken. Catholics, Orthodoxes, Presbyterians, Quakers, Brethrens, Lutherans, Apostolics, etc do not use your deepest regrets against you. If you speak to a pastor/priest/minister that stays between the two of you. This is known in Catholicism as the seal of the confession, and it still remains that way in multiple other denominations.
Bullshit repellent needed. You have no idea of the deep abuse and sinful behavior I saw with my own eyes of the leadership there for 10 years. So gross I cannot even write about it. You cannot Express everyone's full experience. Maybe that's why over 1500 people left xenos in the 90,s went to Vineyard and other more healthy churches. Strange meeting about others sex habits happen as far back as 80,s when it was called fish house. Poking fun of poor people who had no education. It goes on and on.

I suggest you read kingdom of the cults by Walter Martin, SECTION on scaling the language barrier. Xenos is lopsided theology of growing in numbers. Revealing their faith in God ACTUALLY building his church doesn't exist. Its forces at xenos.
