I just got saved 1st May 2022 and 3rd May I was baptised with water and 4th May I was baptised by the Holy Spirit I pray in private in tongues and I do feel closer to God

Oh thank you for your amazing teaching! I'm in a season where I'm now spending time praying in the spirit in private. It's really getting me more in tune with God, it's allowing my mind as I go about my day to stay focused on God. And most of all... No more depression!! Really grateful to God!

This is the teaching lacking in a lot of churches today.
Tongues will cause every religious devil to rise up in folks. Satan hate tongues and wants to stop Christians from speaking in tongues. Blessings!
EXACTLY 💯.!! This, plus the fact that the one that gave or came with this gift is grossly underrated under reverenced- God the HolyGhost is the God in the earth 🌎 earth today and Jesus said to worship him Luke 4:7-8. Jesus said it was expedient he goes back to God the Father or God the Holy Ghost, our Helper Teacher, the Living God, will not come. Jesus delivered on this Promise in Acts 2, the phenomenon at Pentecost.
Jesus is presently sitted at the right hand side of God the Father in heaven, interceding for us. We are presently in the Holy Ghost dispensation. When God the Holy Ghost prays through us using our tongue as his Pen Psalm 45:1b, , back to God the Father 1st Corinthians 14:2 , its automatically equals to ANSWERED PRAYERS. Satan will definitely fight this, because non of his monitoring spirits can attack our prayers or outcomes, like the experience of Daniel. This is where and when, All things begin to work together for our good Romans 8:26-28
I have been praying in a Godly language for some time, tonight at a bible study my belief in this was trashed by a " brother in the Lord". Thank you so much for showing me concisely that I wasnt wrong.

A lot of people judge what they don't know or haven't experienced. Once a person that feels that way has an experience and speaks in tongues they will repent.
I’ve heard a lot of bashing of speaking in tongues lately
You carry on and ignore anyone who tries to tell you different. They'll either come round or miss out.
I challenge anyone who is not sure about tongues, challenge yourself to pray excessively in tongues do it more and more and I gurantee you that if you do it more and more as often as possible a year later you will be amazed at all that has happened.😊
@@GodsDiamond7 yes I can share....Within a year my income more than doubled in a strange series of events, my family members and relatives returned to the Lord and relationships were improved or restored as well as increased favor and guidance and direction for life. Also physical healings and overcoming areas in life I struggled in.

@@user-tw8cy8gu8n When I was a teen I went to a youth conference and they asked those that wanted to speak in tongues to come to the altar so I went up amd everyone was in prayer kneeling at the front. I was kind of lost as what to do next. I sat there until one of the speakers from the conference came over to me and said just start moving your mouth & tongue as you feel you should. I was a bit apprehensive but began to do so in a soft whisper at first and then it felt like something in my lower belly started to rise up, up, up, & into my mouth and I began to speak in tongues. I would describe it like a well that was empty but then began to fill up with water until it filled up to the top and then began to overflow at which point I began to speak in tongues. At first it was me doing it in a whisper but then began to speak at a normal voice level. At first it was limited as there were only several words and several different phrases being spoken, but after time the speaking became more diverse and would flow easier and easier. For many years I did not use very much but that was but that was my fault....later I began to study up on and read books on speaking in tongues and all its benefits. I highly recommend to pray without ceasing it is something I feel stongly that we all need to take seriously and develop it as an integral part of our life.
Thank you for this edifying teaching. I prayed to Jesus for the gift of tongues on June 1st and instantly received it. I’ve been praying a lot in tongues since then and received the Holy Spirit from Jesus on June 5th. Amazing! Yesterday, I prayed a couple of prayers for my son who has Autism and ADHD. I was really getting into it and I felt the Spirit want to take over my lips. I surrendered when my prayer was done and rivers of living water would not stop flowing out of me! This went on for at least 10 minutes. I had to force it to stop! It was amazing and the only way I want to pray now. I really feel like the Spirit wants my son to be healed. I wish every Christian could experience this gift and see how powerful it is.

The reason believers first speak in tongues is the Holy Spirit baptism. Then they can pray in tongues anytime they want.
I know because that's how it happened for me.

Now if a Christian is Praying in The Spirit nobody understands what is being said not even Satan. This is so Holy and powerful.
The Hermeneutical principle of "First Mention" will always help you find the meaning for Biblical terms - such as speaking in tongues. Isaiah 28:11 is the first mention of this phenomenon and it is a warning to the Jews that when they hear it occur (the Day of Pentecost 30 A.D.) then the destruction of the Nation was at hand. The Apostles used the Gift of Tongues to bring the Gospel message to Jews who at that time no longer spoke Hebrew, but it was ALWAYS the Gospel that was spoken in different LANGUAGES. After August of 70 A.D. there was no longer any need for the Gift because the warning that came with it for the Nation of Israel was no longer needed, for Israel as a Nation had ceased to exist. And, by the way, the Greek word pneuma (spirit) never means "ghost." The Greek word for "ghost" is "shade" and it is blasphemy to attach that to any member of the Godhead - you might want to think about that. "Ghost" was used by one of the six teams of linguists who were translating the 7 editions of Erasmus into the KJV (and by the way, they were not Believers).
1 Corinthians 12:28-30 28 And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, third teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, administrations, varieties of tongues. 29 Are all apostles? Are all prophets, are all teachers? Are all workers of miracles?30
Do you all have gifts for healings?do you all speak with tongues? Do all interpret?31 But earnestly desire the best gifts, and yet I show you a more excellent way.
Tying God The Holy Spirit to selecting believers with more favor by gifting
This gift from the Lord is addition to the Gospel According to Jesus Christ. Jesus promised the “ helper”( God The Holy Spirit) to all those who believe, to allow transformation leading to sanctification. The helper, our Savior promised which is God The Holy Spirit. Brings discernment to the believers heart and soul. This gift of speaking in tongues has no increased benefit than any other spiritual gift. In fact, using this gift where the house of worship does not have, nor promotes this gift by raising it above any other spiritual gift is sinful, as it can trip up new believers, or especially those who do not yet believe at all. Just like God’s elect, we have no idea who they are. None. Tripping someone up who is on their way to God is so greatly far apart from The Perfect Will of God. Jude 20-25 has no relationship with the gift of speaking in tongues. Not even a bit. Doxology. A great study to dive into, should one care to is Ephesians 3:20-21.( Exortations to Christians) our marching orders according to Jesus Christ🙂

You are allowed to cast out demons. It is good to begin with yourself. We are all damaged. Read Isaiah 54 and then Isaiah 61, It is time to be healed.
Before I get saved 3 years ago I had a horrible anxiety and depression, I wanted to die; I used to cry every day and my mind was not mine anymore.
Jesus healed me ask him, and pray in tongues brother his more powerful than depression ❤

I stepped out on faith and finally did this not too long ago i was pretty sure the spirit had done it but since then iv doubted myself. I know ppl say doesnt have to sound like others but when i do it theres no structure or even what I would consider that sounds like a word even if i dont understand. My tongue basically just goes blahlalablaaablaa and feels like its going in circles or sideways lol. I know the Lord has certainly been doing work in me and changing my heart and understanding more. I have prayed if thats whats actually happening or if i just tricked myself. I was watching David Hernandez Speaking in tongues for beginners and it was quite helpful. Got me over the hump to just step out on faith and try

The great apostle Paul said I thank God I speak in tongues more than you all, not to boast but the reveal the significance of speaking in tongues. Note they all spoke in tongues thought with varying degrees. Paul said forbid not speaking in tongues. Praise God. I was shown in a dream how praying in tongues confuses the enemy of our souls... he does not understand the prayer language when we speak it to God in prayer and it confuses him.

I'd love to be able to speak with tongues especially when I am out soul winning, so many people don't speak English.
Saving repentance is realizing that you are a sinner deserving of God's just punishment in Hell and turn (repent) from whatever you trusted in before, if indeed you trusted in anything; to trusting in the person and finished work of Christ "alone" for salvation.

The entire concept of speaking in tongues is to edify (teach) others the gospel. In a nut shell, someone is blessed with ability to understand and speak in a language that is not their native language, that they may minster in that language to those that only understand that language.
