I once visited the original Tsukiji market about 12 yrs. ago. My uncle knew someone there so we got passes to enter and get a tour. The current market opened in 2018. The retail shops are very welcome and busy during the holidays. Enjoyed thank you.
It must have been a special experience and thanks for sharing! I was a bit late and arrived at Tsukiji around 1pm, thinking everything would be closed and quiet but it was still very busy. I hope to explore Toyosu someday but I think it’s hard to get inside. Glad you enjoyed the walk and thank you so much for your support as always🙏💝
