The Pochette Métis is such an interesting bag. People are squarely in love or not, there’s no middle ground. I love mine, it’s my work bag and easily the most used bag I have.

Arrrggghhh you are breaking my heart with the Boy Bag. I absolutely love it, especially in this colour which is so hard to find now.
I knowwww, I've been deciding on it for a while but I really don't use. I'll see if I use it in the next few weeks maybe, I hear prices are going up on the boy again soon
Having just gotten home from a European trip with my new LV PM, it changed my travel life! I agree I wish a bottle of water fit inside, but the opening of the Odeon I think would make me crazy. 2 zippers means it looks like it doesn’t open ALL the way and I can see my hands getting scratched by the zipper as I go in and out of it a million times a day. The PM was incredibly practical, esp the back pocket was perfect for my phone for constant photos..easy in and out and also snug enough to “hold” my phone securely even if I forget to close the zipper. Love it!
id never get rid of my pochette metis is my go to bag i adore it i love the fact its an vintage style its beautiful.

The Pochette Métis is a bag I never thought I wanted and then when I got it I fell in love with it. Especially the reverse. I grab it constantly. I would swap my backpacks for the large Lock Me backpack or the Montsouris backpack.
I did this video a few weeks ago. It really made me look at my collection in a different way. I ever purchased one of the items I would replace my bag with.
The Pochette metis had its moment. When I see it now it transports me back to the “blogger aesthetic” from a few years back

I just bought the Reverse Monogram Pochette Métis yesterday in the Rome airport on the way home from a holiday and I never thought I wanted this design but I used it for the flights home and love it so far!!!
A 1000 times YES for the Palm Springs mini!!! I could not care less about that bag until about a month ago, when I was scrolling through YT thinking hm…I wonder what’s the most versatile bag. And one of them was the PM mini☺️ I keep checking Vestiaire and Ebay since, but seeing the only small price difference between new and pre-loved, as well as considering how many super fakes are now out there, I’m strongly vonsidering waiting a few more months and save up for a new one. Not so long ago, I bought a Gucci Marmont Super Mini from Ebay and even the authenticators had some really hard time deciding if the bag was real - turned out it was a super fake…and the seller after I returned the bag re-posted the item, claiming in the ad she had it authenticated!!! Needless to say she has been reported to Ebay right away. Love your channel by the way x
The palms springs mini is the best bag ever! It's so cute!!! I like the odeon too. I've been thinking about it for quite a while now. I just don't know if I'm getting another LV bag.
That little Prada is perfect! I sold my Pochette Métis a couple years ago-I liked it just never in love with it like so many people are. I eventually got the YSL Lou Lou and love it! For back pack styles, have you checked out Gucci? They have some super cute ones-with a nice price point too. Oh those cappucines ♥️ in the small or mini…so classic! Love your swap idea too. 💖 June
I like the reverse monogram Pochette Metis, so I am fine with mine and keeping /wearing it proudly. However, the other bags you showed, I would replace too. Great video!
You can never have too much of a beautiful bag! Hoping you get your hands on the galet capucine in the near future! I totally agree, if you aren't using the bag, time to sell. Out with the old, in with the new!

I recently ordered the Pochette Metis, and I had to return it. The bag was a mess and after one exchange, and the 2nd having several defects, I gave up. I received the Gucci Horsebit 1955 mini top handle bag today, and it is perfect! 😍 I honestly didn't care about the brand, I just love a really structured bag with a shoulder strap and top handle. So happy with my little Gucci. 🤗

Steph, I agree on the Pochette Metis. I bought the monogram version and after using it on a trip, I was like “meh”. I bought it because of all the hype. I sold it and now use a Speedy B25 as my everyday bag. I have the Prada Double Bag and don’t use it often, but I’ll never sell it because the hubs bought it for me on our honeymoon in Italy. But now I want the mini double bag. 😍
Each to their own…. Odeon looks dated 2010 sachel to me and PM is more timesless trunk hardware. But I’m in the US and the PM isn’t everywhere. PSM is everywhere with the younger kids here.
Yeah, it really depends on where you live. Dubai is probably an outlier, because you see so many people wearing designer labels there. Where I live, I've only ever seen the Pochette Metis twice, and those times were 4 years apart. The LV bag I see most frequently is the Neverfull, usually in Ebene, but even that I may see a handful of times per year, definitely not every day.
I see the pochette metis all the time in LA and Orange County. I even see it every time I go to Disneyland, along with the PSM. But the PSM looks cute in Disney pictures lol
I have the Pochette Métis in a beautiful red color. I don’t wear it a lot because I have 3 red bags but I still like it.
I have bought and sold a few Pochette Metis bags. I always get drawn back in and have decided to keep the monogram one in my collection. I would love to add a boy bag but I'm kinda thinking about the north south one. It's not as cute as the style you have but I like that the north south one is not as worn by as many people.

You are addicted to those Capucines! Go for that light tan color, you would get your wear from that one! The Chanel, oh I can see that one is hard to style with your taste in colors. You dress very classic, so that shade would even puzzle me. I would definitely go for the Black Prada straw raffia. Such a few steps up in the look too, more gorgeous. I love the YSL in the black, and when you said it is a deeper shade of black, I started to like it more. hehe. In the end, you will have to make the choices. I think you will make the right choices. One thing I like about your purchasing and letting go, is you really think and ponder through every aspect of it. I love the PM over the Oden. Think on that one some more 🤔 Great video as always!
I love the LV Locky BB and a LV Madeleine, I will adding them both to my collection soon, and I just discovered a have an attraction to a Christian Dior 💼I will be adding a few of those to my collection as well!
I get what you say about the grey Boy bag! I have a lovely grey and gold YSL bag but I really struggle to style it. I thought it would be a perfect neutral but all the neutrals in my wardrobe are beige and natural toned so it just doesn’t work as well as I thought it would 🤨 x
I agree with your choices to swap; I have the Turtledove Pochette Métis and rarely use it but I like looking at it and having in my collection. The five bags I would swap out are my YSL black LouLou Medium, LV Cluny MM, blue Felicie Pochette, damier Ebene Neverfull, and speedy 35 damier ebene. I would swap these for the LV speedy 25B, Palm Springs mini, and a YSL Loulou small.

Good choices. I’d maybe keep the SL evening bag (and also get the Prada, ha), but if you never reach for it… best to let someone else enjoy it.

Hello, I love the Prada . I love the Odean not the P Metis. I like all your other swaps and the bags you want to replace them with. I don't like the thick strap on the mini Prada bag as shown in Dubai. I loved the Emerald green bag, can't recall which designer, in Harrods that you mentioned but didn't look at. Xxx

Yeah I need help!! LOL. No seriously, I am considering selling my Odeon PM and I use my Pochette Métis quite a bit still. I really want to love the Odeon because I love the strap and the look of the bag, however my issue is getting things in and out of it. I find I end up scratching a wallet and my hands get the odd “ouch!” as well. Can you please give me idea for what you use in your Odeon? Or point me to a video if you have done a what’s in my bag for that one? Thank you so much!
We all have our magpie items,. They attract us but we don't use. The odiem bag is way more functional.
Backpacks ate annoying to use getting getting into the car and accessing the items.
Love the Chloe bag but a annoying short strap is a no thanks.i would find a inspired version.
The prada tote looks rather smart but bulky giving briefcase vibes.. the smaller version looks more suited for your frame
A metallic bag is a great replacement for the ysl. Like the prada crystal mini tote. It's looks fun.

Yes lots of people message me about the dauphine - I’ll be honest just the style has never spoken to me it feels too ‘vintage’ looking and in all about the modern look. But that’s just me it looks like a good bag
I had the dauphine MM in reverse and sold it. I loved the vintage look but found it was too dressy/formal for regular use and it didn’t have enough room inside. It’s capacity is similar to my empreinte Vavin PM that I use for nights out. I swapped the dauphine for the PM in reverse and haven’t looked back. Even more relieved after I’ve seen photos of Katie Price with a very overstuffed one. She’s treated it so badly the corners are curling.
I was tempted by the Odeon because of not needing to baby it, but it’s a bit too casual for me. I could well be tempted by the reverse hobo that’s coming out in the Autumn.
@@blondpidge that’s the funny thing. I think the opposite. Can go easily from casual as a crossbody to dressy over the shoulder or with the gold chain. I’m torn! Thank you for your input, much appreciated.
I have the reg mono pochette Métis and have worn it maybe 5 times. I wish I had gotten the reverse mono. Mine just sits in its dust bag on a shelf

Instead of getting the Prada wicker, get the Dior. Uve been lusting over a lady Dior and the light version. U should get the wicker one and kill 2 bids one stone. Also, the strap is detachable and u can use it on ur other purses maybe or if u get a small Cairo or something u already would have an extra canvas Dior strap
I think LV is really trying hard to spread capucines bags through SM, but they definitely cannot match Chanel so far.
If you feel like you have already enough boy bags, then go ahead but you do have enough capucines :))) it’s hard, I know 😊

Don’t understand WHY you would wear a wicker bag with a jumper? The wicker is a summer bag. Doesn’t make sense to me.
First swap was spot on I have wanted the reverse for years but was always out of stock until recently, I have the Odeon PM in the DE/Black and use daily- finally got the PM reverse and returned it within 10 days, honestly it felt like ummm cheap compared to the Odeon
