I've been helping and reaching my fellow Filipinos for more than a decade, since 2006, but without recording it on film.
I just decided to film the activities we do in 2015 to spread awareness.
This time guys: I need your help. I need your helping hands to give joy to Filipino families, one at a time.
How it works:
Your contribution goes straight to the individual/family we reach/help.
After we reached/helped 1 individual/family: We then move on to help another.
Our objective is to reach 1 economically poor individual/family, one at a time.
Important notes:
1. I personally don't receive/get/take/pocket any amount of financial contributions from you guys.
Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
2. I do not publish on youtube the stories of the families we reach w/o a signed release agreement and parental/guardian consent.
The release agreement gives me a permission to publish their stories on youtube.
3. Business, personal and GoFundMe fundraiser accounts: All the funds, contributions, sources of income and other monetary sources that go into my accounts are being reported to the taxman. My bank also reports to the taxman every year, by the end of the year, FYI.
There's a Certified Public Accountant who does the accounting and auditing of my accounts.
The Certified Public Accountant reports to the taxman.
4. You don't need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution to give help to people in the Philippines.
Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
There's no law that states, that you need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution first, before you are able to give help to people legally.
5. GoFundMe checks the fundraiser account from time to time.
They sometimes ask for verification and validation.
The reason why I upload films/videos about poverty in the Philippines is to spread social awareness.
To combat economic inequality, social injustice, oppression, repression, abuse and exploitation:
1st: We have to be aware.
2nd: We should pay attention.
3rd: We are ought to do something about it.
We as Filipinos and citizens of this planet should not turn a blind eye, not to play deaf and not to pretend mute.
We as human beings have a responsibility to give care and to show compassion to others.
We as citizens have a great responsibility to safeguard our ball of genuine democracy.
We as citizens have a responsibility to fight tyranny and corruption.
A documentary film/video like this one is very important, because it opens our eyes to the unjust societal reality.
How could we turn a blind eye on social injustice and huge economic inequality?

Another great video. I am wandering if Jessa isn't a little bit "Simple" (For want of a different word) It's very sad as she only looks like a kid herself. I am also a little bit suspicious myself, as to the grandma's boyfriend maybe molesting either her or her kids. Very good observation, also by not wanting to show Cesar where they stay.. Something isn't right here. As another commenter said, "Why ask such a question" I say, You need to address these things, otherwise it's like sweeping it under the carpet, Just like government is wanting to do.

How I can help her?
Sh*t like this pisses me off.. How come their government out there don't help these families in need?? If I was a millionaire I would help these people.. and if I ever become a millionaire you will see my words in action.. I do pray for these people in the Philippines and hope their situation will gets better! 🙏🏾

I felt uneasy when the young mom said her granny’s boyfriend let them stay/live with them. This mom should be very careful.

I know its impossible but if jessa can get here i will take her and her daughters in my home . I will provide food and shelter for them i will help her put her daughters in school. Ill help jessa get education and a job and eventually her own apartment. She dont have to pay me nothing i am a single woman i live alone so she would not be around no man or anyone trying to harm her or the girls . Mark could come do visits to check how she is doing. But its impossible i know. Its sad seeing these babys live like this. And jessa looks so drained 😢

I was in Manila recently and saw a lot of misery, but it makes me extremely sad. I am so incredibly sorry for the young girl with her two small children... I hope that there will be a better time for the three of them... 😥

Jessica is the type of single mother i could live with, sounds humble. But id be afraid she would want everything that shes missed out on because im "Rich" when im far from it. Im not into supporting siblings/ parents. Id just give them a more comfortable life than they have now, put her kids into daycare so she could work and become independent, not dependant.

I think they should have bought them way less snacks, but more staples( rice and tinned goods).

Help her find a job, send her back to school to get her education or a skill, to run her own business or become, a teacher, nurse, dentist etc, she dont have to stay in poverty, is her mind set, break that cycle in our country education is free, and government give grants to single mothers, I don't if out there have the same privileged free education and grants
