I am also amazed that that there were no flies or bugs in an open market like that. You could never do that in Lafayette, Louisiana where we live ! Everything also looked very clean & hygienic and yummy !! You guys are cool - so funny with the ice cream (just curious - does it taste creamy like ice cream in the States & Canada ?). It's like Japanese mochi. It's made from rice flour and it's quite chewy and sticky. that's why it's covered in rice flour on the outside as well. It's really good. You can usually get mochi in Asian supermarkets. Of course it wouldn't be the posh strawberry one hehe. And again, you can make mochi at home. There's plenty easy tutorial videos on UA-cam. I think ochikeron defo did one. 😄
I am just curious how come there are no flies even when they are peeling the fruit. I live in a humid place and no matter how clean you are once you cut fruit then there will be a swarm of houseflies.
