As much as I love the idea of Sanji being a relative to one of the five elders, where would they go with it, especially now that the Germa thing got wrapped up. The "Only Alive" plot would have been perfect for that, but I guess it wasn't the right time for that point of the story, or probably just too hard to pull off.

Kong is the Originator of the King Kong Gun, similar to how Master Roshi Taught Goku the Kamehameha. But rather, Both Kong and Luffy discover the Kong Gun separately, and will clash at the end of the Series

@@Raining_H Well, I guess this all depends on whether Garp would even go near a Celestial Dragon in the first place. He'd probably avoid them like the plague. But we already know that Garp values his pride as a marine very highly, to the point of allowing Ace to die, so I believe if he was forced to be near them he wouldn't cause a fuss. Plus there are different kinds of Tenryubito, Garp would absolutely follow the orders of the Gorosei.

Do you think Kong is potentially Garps Dad. He Shares the facial scar similar with Luffy, Garp, and Dragon. Kong could be in reference to being king of the Monkeys Monkey D. Kong.
It would also explain how someone with a free spirit like Garp even ended up in the marines in the first place.
If Kong is a D as well, then that doesn't explain why a free-spirit like him is in the Marines.

That is very true and they seem to have other more well-known occupations in order to cover up their jobs as the members of this cypher pole or to better serve their functions within the organization. In that sense they are not much different from CP-9.

In theory, Kong can use haki and I think it would be a great nod to the character of King Kong if he possessed Conqueror's Haki. He does have the character of a king, so it would make sense.

I think the Gorosei have some to very little talk to the “lesser beings” in the One Piece World. Considering that Clover can just pick up a DenDen Mushi and call up there. It most likely took some connections thru the Marines to allow relay to that but still

I wonder if Shanks interacted with Kong while on his way to the Gorosei. Him just walking through the Castle to the highest (commonly) known authority and he didn't pass by the executive force that is the Commander-In-Chief? Executive in probably more than just one way. Just how would have that gone down? Kong knows about the Will of D. He knows that Shanks knows. He probably even knows what Shanks' place in all this is. And he still let him pass.
