I like this new Johnny, it's a nice merge between young johnny and old johnny personality. Sure he remains a hollywood star but he isn't daddy's kid: he knows and has interest in world history, knows when to take shit seriously and when to take it as joke, isn't a massive jerk to anyone for no reason but likes to tease people, he is naturally talented in flirting but respect women limits, and all of that while remaining loyal to the character! Hopefully we keep this johnny for a while, he is by far the best of the three HD johnny we gotten the last few years. Pd: netherrealm should really cut the crap with time shenanigans, it will only make things worse for the franchise on the long run
I hated young johny in mk11, completely wasted all the character arc he had becoming, you know, likable, having seen this cage as a man capable of respect, and understanding his debt to Kenshi, hes pretty sick
I mean. He is a younger version that haven't undergone his character arc like his old self. So it more than understandable that he is more of an A-hole than his older self

I found it pretty odd that Kenshi only gained his powers after his playable section had ended. Not to be mean, but if Kenshi got blinded mid way in his chapter, then Johnny gives him Sento earlier, players could get 1 or 2 fights to play as Kenshi with his powers during the story mode.
I think its a little weird considering only Raiden got a super chapter, with his powers and all. I feel like they def could've given Kenshi and Lao one as well. Kinda took away from his thunder of unlocking Sento's power, just to be a story-mode exclusive kameo.@@penguindude1235
It seems like Kenshi being blind is almost like a paradox that it will always happen, from him being blind in two previous timelines, all of his doppelgängers in the battle of Armageddon were blind even his Rain hybrid, even an complete reset of time can’t stop this.
What I don't understand is why did they censor kenshis bring stabbed in eyes. We can see fatal blow damage. We saw in mkx mileenas death by dvorah kiss of death where bugs ate her face yet here kenshis loss of eyesight is off screen which is weird
I think it was to make it a shocking reveal for the people who never played a Mortal Kombat game and this was their first one. If that's the case, NRS did a terrible job at it.
