I have read this book numerous times, and still have not discovered who or what is the name of the rose!!!

The mystery of codes...Any name or written language could be a code. At the same time, It hints the only woman Adoso had ever known in his life, because he had never known her name. That implies the mystery of code would never be fully solved, like William confessed that his reasoning was all wrong after all.

The rose is a symbol of secret, because only reveals its heart upon its death. Whenever a rose was upon a table, the gathering, and its subject was supposed to be kept in secret.
