You really doing great creating teaching videos.....Thank you so much....👍🏻👍🏻...wish you make a video about how to design the Store, the Checkout process, and all related stores and designs.....🙏🌺
Thank you for this video, it was what I was looking for but they may have removed that option because I dont see it. Im trying to sell booths at a non-profit event and I need to collect information. Let me know if anyone has an idea on how can I do this.
Question for you - am I able to create a custom form if I don’t want to include an item to checkout with in the store? My product is a service, and I want the form to act as the request service form where I will get all of the introductory information I need to set up a discovery call with a client before I send them an invoice. Also would be cool to know if there’s a way to set up the form to be animated, so that each question only shows up after the previous question has been answered and “next” clicked. We’ve all seen it
So, if you just want a form, don’t use a store or a checkout process. That just makes it cumbersome for the user. Just use a form block and you should be good to go. When it comes to animating the form, Squarespace does not have that. So, you can use a tool like type form and embed that.
hey man great video! i have a question, i have a client that need a check out page, but the order of the product it will be by entering in contact with the owner of the site by sending messages by forms, asking if they have a specific part of a car. Than the owner will answer replying that he have the product. At the end i need to know if i can generate a password or a code that the customer enter in the check out page and pay the order. Thanks man! I aprecciated!
If you do a custom form for several products and add an email spot for each, can it email the receipt to those emails? ... or does it just go to the 1 email collected on the checkout form?
Is there anyway to have all of this on the actual page of the item? For example, I make ornaments and I just want an area where they can type out their name or year instead of having a form pop up
It would be nice if you could add a form before they check out, lets say, I'm selling custom tshits, and the t-shirt design requieres the name or a nickname for example, so they can select SIZE, COLOR and add the IMPUT NAME field before they click check out
This video on editing the custom forms was what I needed to solve my issue! Thank you make such an informative video!!
Thank you so much this was the part I was struggling with The most. Like you said, the UI was so hard to see that I was confused about navigating it.
You are amazing and easy to follow. Thank you so much ❤❤❤❤
So kind!! :) Glad you enjoyed

Great suggestion! :)
Great video. Where is the email stored after someone completes the form? I set this up and can't find the email I entered in my contacts.
Love your Videos
Hello. I’m a there any way to have a customer upload a photo when checking out? I’m asking decals and need a photo.
Thank you!
Is there a way to have it as a replacement for the check out page to be sent to email instead of through the Squarespace check out

I really like how communication with customer is handled on Etsy, does the Squarespace has something like that?
Hey! Currently they do not :(

Did you ever figure this out man? I have a similar design I wanted on my site, but it seems almost impossible to find a tutorial on this

Is there a way to change the theme/colors of a custom form? My white buttons are going missing in the white background.

Hey! How do we send an email that contains documents client would need to fill out before appointment after they book the service?

Is there a way to chance too change the initial add cart button to “add personalization “
Can I somehow make my customer fill in a google forms rather than Squarespace forms?
I cant find a way to do it... please help!
Nice

Hmmm, without major customizations, at the moment, no :(
@@meetdavidalex I was worried you were going to say that. :( thank you for the video tho! Very informative
@@lindawilmarth3300 Of course! Best of luck :)
How can I see the product forms (before checkout) of a customer? not the checkout forms or other... help me with that please!
Hey! Not possible without complicating the checkout process with a few more steps.
It would be nice if you could add a form before they check out, lets say, I'm selling custom tshits, and the t-shirt design requieres the name or a nickname for example, so they can select SIZE, COLOR and add the IMPUT NAME field before they click check out
That's doable - go into your product editor, scroll to the bottom and there is an area where there is a checkout form you can add!
@@meetdavidalex sorry I meant before the click ADD TO CART
anyone else found it impossible to then edit a custom product form?! used to be possible but I cant find it anymore!
The Squarespace form sucks, anyway to do a woofoo or google form here?
As far as I know, Not during checkout :/
