By the way, I've found it interesting that the majority of people forget that, in Genesis 10:25, after the flood, the "earth divided," for which Peleg was named. When, of course, means the movement of the earth's plates (tectonic plates) came into being and the continents were separated following the flood. It was only one sentence in the Bible, and it doesn't mention how big the divides were but it was apparently a memorable moment since Peleg was named due to that event.
This is my favorite Christian broadcast. I've read others saying the same thing. I'm a soul sower. 10s of thousands of tracts into people's hands. These guys put tears in my eyes at times sowing for Jesus
I never watched "Duck Dynasty" because, by that time, I had given up on watching TV because there seemed to be nothing worthy of watching. I just found these videos and have been trying to watch at least one every night. I'm already a Christian but I find these videos so informative. But what I really like is that they give some good information on the Bible. It's like going to church but staying at home. I especially liked when Al said that the new use of the Rainbow means "we have more work to do." I've never thought about in that way and I'm glad it gave a more positive position on it, from a Christian perspective.
I have been a member of the church of Christ all of my life, but always feel scared of making any mistakes whatsoever. While I am still working on my fears, y’all’s videos help me trust God more and make me feel more at peace. I appreciate y’all’s videos so much. By the way, I saw Jace at the Von Braun center in Huntsville AL at a hunting and fishing expo preaching the Word. Fantastic!

I saw my Dad lead singing many times standing down from the podium like Phil said. Folks loved it when he would do that because they felt more unity with Jesus and each other.
Our grandson is a Marine he is home on leave, he loves his country. I pray for him and those who are with him. He was catching a flight home and his flight was cancelled the airlines was able to get a hotel room for everyone except him. I have heard this happening to a young man in the air Force as well.This has happened more then once to our grandson. Hurts my heart to think our military is being mistreated. 😡

I definitely laugh every episode but lately I’ve also cried during them. So moving and inspiring! Y’all have helped mold and motivate me to step out and I’m currently mediating (I hate saying lead because God is leading but I started) an email based group bible study. I give a song, a devotional (3-5 day) and a video message like Unashamed (or Tony Evans or Joyce Meyer, Francis Chan etc.). We are in week 4 and have a dozen members not counting myself! God is good, may He use me completely!

I'm loving this podcast. I have listened to all of them up to this point. You talked about how we should concentrate on what religions have in common and I want you to know that it does happen. My uncle is a priest for a Catholic church in the middle of Alabama and he gets together with other churches in the area when he can. He told me that they will trade crosses in the middle of town during the Easter season.
I have recently started watching the Podcast and the Bible study I wish they would put all of the episode numbers on the picture so that you could watch them in the right order
Jase thats a great thought on not listening to the preacher. The Bible says to challenge everything. Meaning to seek out information yourself. Not meaning blow off what the preacher says but look into what they say. You can read the Bible 100 times and you could even up find 90 or more new things or learning the true meaning of what a passage means. Its truly amazing how that can happen. My dad has read the Bible a lot more than I have and he still finds something new or something he hasn't seen before.
I, too, (like Al’s friend), was raised in the Roman Catholic Church. Unlike your friend, we DID pray together and talk about Jesus and our sacrifice to and for God. But we had Catechism, not Bible study. I was told that was because “The Church” wanted to simplify things (what?). In any event, I found your Unashamed podcasts after binging “Duck Dynasty” then “In the Woods With Phil.” My EYES ARE OPENING!!!!!! I am non-plussed at the way you gentlemen can just flip through the Bible and tie chapter and verse together. I want that. I want that so I can ground myself in service to God. One suggestion: can you post the chapter/verse references on the screen (some you do)? As you “get-to-goin;” being unfamiliar with THE Book, I can’t flip fast enough (smile). Ok so maybe we’re lost for a reason....... we need to go out.....and also OMG... !!!! I have truly learned It is not about me/you it is about him our father....eyes are wide open when we begin to realize that.. I have been called for a reason/purpose.... we have free will..... but if we’re making the correct choices..... We then are walking IN HIS WILL...What a feeling.... of joy... Our churches will have a calling also.... some will fall.. from refusing to share the truth ... very sad... I have had to revamp my entire life.. to understand my calling... family issues got crazy.... I had not been allowed to see or talk to my children (their request) it has been extremely difficult.... I just went forward and prayed and prayed took almost 4 years.... and I can say now...I have a true God given relationship with my son.... and my daughter has cracked the door open for me..... we are talking... Life has blessed me.... When I sing AMAZING GRACE I cry and cry.... but my favorite church song ever...

Even tonight there was a point that ya'll talked about God saying to spread the word & don't stay in one place. I think maybe it was Jas that said there was a quote on a lectern that said "Its not about you". That made me think back to the Catholic church & everything about it feels like "it's about them....the church itself, the priests, the, Bishops & the Pope". BUT IT'S REALLY NOT!!! I stopped following the Catholic church over 20yrs ago although I NEVER gave up my fairh in God! Understanding the Bible has always been very hard for me. Sure there's parts that made complete sense but I never understood it the way I do now until y'all started this podcast!! Thank you & God Bless EVERYONE!!!
Thank you again and again for going back to the basics. Through you guys the Father is reminding me of my childhood faith, beliefs, and understanding. As a child I felt the urgency to get the Good News to the lost, but decades of well intended churchgoing and ever advancing political correctness and life happening (i.e. attacks by the enemy) left me in a place of hiding my light under a bushel. I appreciate your common sense encouragement and adherence to scripture!

Our pastor spent much of his career working on bible translation and mission work, he has said that pretty much every ppl group has a bible translation available to them.
I'm almost 66, I've went to high school a many of times with my rifle, went hunting after school, traveled way before they started taking our 2nd Admendent with these CWP's carried for years and will Not be seen unarmed !

Our pastor spent much of his career working on bible translation and mission work, he has said that pretty much every ppl group has a bible translation available to them.
