Did u read the comic? Hulk didn’t trash the armor. It was the force of the 3000 gamma bomb that atomised part of the planet, yet Tony was fine due to the celestial tech and Thor was turned into a Hulk
I was so nervous that this series was undoing the progress made in Immortal Hulk, but now I'm ecstatic that everything is tying together into a cohesive tale!
@@MostlyPonies1 Funny thing is he taken out Hulk several times in baseline armors, yet every buster suit either wasn't allowed to win or was destroyed in a instant in time for the next issue
Ok... this just raised SO many questions without answers. First. Celestials are COSMIC beings, right? Creatures who stroll along calmly through the void of space, experiencing all that free radiation that floats around normally from there? Like the radiation of hundreds of suns without the protection of atmosphere or technology, right? And yet an explosion created by the Hulk can VAPORIZE one? I get that it's just the body of one, but still it should have retained WAY more resistance to radiation and force than that. At best that explosion should have just destroyed Stark's modifications, making it so the body couldn't function, I think. Second. Thor has become a Hulk. ....wat. We DO remember that Banner becoming the Hulk wasn't like the automatic result of being exposed to a gamma radiation explosion, right? Like... if a gamma bomb were dropped on a city, everyone wouldn't Hulk out all at once? It was supposed to be a one in a billion fluke that caused it, based on a lot of unique factors. So how was it just passed on to Thor? And yes, I know they're trying to suggest this ANOTHER new power the Hulk has, but really... come on. Third. Thor's own existing powers weren't enough to stop his mind from being shrunk to 'Thor smash'? He's one of the most powerful beings in the universe at this point, yet his mind was too weak to remain focused when he's suddenly doused in gamma radiation? No case of him being stunned or confused at least for a moment, as he wrestles with the idea and feelings of his body being changed? Just straight to 'Thor smash' and start breaking stuff? And Last, though not truly... they need to just go ahead and either mark Hulk as some cosmic entity or god or infernal being or something. I know it was suggested that that was what the actual case is, but they just need to straight up place him in that category. People need to stop calling him Bruce, for example. Bruce is some kind of cursed soul that's just been trapped into being stuck to Hulk, like an unfortunate barnacle at this point. It's like that explosion at the beginning melted the two of them together just enough that Bruce is unable to escape and has been struggling to break free ever since. As much as it might feel kinda badass or cool to see the Hulk doing this stuff, and have these over the top stories... it's also kind of exhausting. Right now, you could tell me the Hulk fell into the heart of a star and just hung out there being mad and punching it until it exploded, then was left floating in the void for millennia without dying until he happened to fall to another planet and started smashin stuff again. At least with Doomsday they explained that he adapts to every type of damage, making it consecutively harder to kill or hurt him. With the way the Hulk is now, it's hard to even say WHAT his actual abilities are, and having followed him from the beginning, it's all just starting to feel kinda corny.
@@dav1d9 this is the funniest shit I’ve ever seen, just because no one else has commented. it’s just this guy (sounding like eor in my mind)) saying “I wish people would read my comics” and the commenter just instantly and with seemingly no soul says “keep wishing” in a monotone ass voice
Maybe Tony should've worked with the Asgardian blacksmith who made the destroyer armor. Imagine the celestial hulkbuster armor remade with Asgardian magic/metal in conjunction with the strongest metals and obtainable power sources they can get. That might be enough to stop this hulk, maybe.
Marvel comics nowadays are just, "What if Thor was the Hulk? What if Captain America was Venom?" So many characters but over the decades they've run out of stories to tell. Like this one. We have to stop the Hulk... again! That's like half of all the Hulk stories.
Yeah agreed. I think they should go through a soft reboot, like DC does. Their are several interesting ideas but events have started to feel like recycled again and again
@@Krimson5pride I think they've already had a soft reboot, or at least tried to. DC on the other hand has had too many reboot attempts. Maybe the problem with reboots is that they allow for repeating the same stories to be told again since it's a new attempt. I think it's inevitable that characters will feel stale after decades of storytelling. There's only so much character development they can go through. In a way that can be a good thing; they now have stability. The story no longer has to be about them learning a lesson and can be how they resolve a situation. But it's not a perfect solution. New characters need to be introduced to tell the stories the old ones can't anymore. Marvel has an overabundance of secondary characters but I could count how many stand out on one hand. The best solution I can think of is to focus on a handful of new characters, and instead of trying to revamp old characters, apply those stories to new ones to make them interesting.
As soon as I saw hulk glowing I knew this was going to bring about the Gamma radiation arc from Earths Mightiest heroes back. Where every avenger was infected with gamma radiation by the Leader. So cool.
I've always wondered over the years how all of Hulk's non-super powered friends just didn't drop dead when they got close to him because of his radiation.
Thought Hulk #7 was absolutely horrendous. (Personal opinion) Celestial Armor did nothing to progress the plot. It could have been any Armor - they might have suffered with the lack of exposition though. Been waiting for it from a month and ended up highly underwhelmed.
