His bullying was physical and her’s was cyber. They both had the same consequence. Words can cut as deep, or deeper, than a knife.
This one gets me every time. I tried 7 times and one the last one I succeeded. The EMS , the Nurses, and the Doctors saved me. I spent a month in a coma. I have been sober now since February 9, 2017.

The song is about how different forms of bullying can end in the same result. Also how you can influence others with you decisions and actions. Thats why you see her close the laptop after looking at his suicide post. And no they werent dating. They were just showing the two sides of bullying and how one can influence anothers actions if they suffer the same issues.

The boy is being bullied at school for his sexuality I believe (due to the hand gestures the teens made) and the teen girl had nude photos leaked and is being cyber bullied over them. Such a great song with a powerful message

I was activly suicidal in high school. One night I got to the point that I knew deep in my soul if I didn't ask for help I would be dead by morning. I knew it with every fiber of my being. I had gotten into a fight with my mom earlier in the day. I was scared to knock on her door and ask for help, but I did. I went to my mom's room showed her the cuts on my arm and said "Mom I need help I don't know what to do." When you are suicidal you don't want to die, you just want the everything to stop. I was in therapy the next day. I never thought I'd live to be 18, now I'm 34 and have done so many things teenage me wanted to do, but never thought I'd ever get the chance to do.
Remember Everything and Coming Down is what got me started with ffdp back YEARS UPON YEARS ago and when I say it dramatically changed my life it did, its crazy how much music can help.

Bullying on the internet and social media trolls. No peace at home and parents getting caught up on their own issues not realizing the impact on the kids. I have 3 young adult kids and we were the hangout house. Kids have it much harder now a days then I did in the 80s. Great song and video, we've always listened to alternative rock as well as classic rock. Van Halen week please!
im going to be completely honest to people that are complete strangers to me, but this song really pulled me back, i tried to hang myself once, my little brother saved me then, i was bullied for a long time both mentally and physically, this song is still tough to listen to but after some time it really has become more of an power anthem than a sad realization of the situation.
I have a similar story. My best friend saved me. She had like a 6th sense when it came to me doing stupid shit. Every time I tried to kill myself within a few minutes my phone would start ringing nonstop till I answered. Every time the noose gave and she would say "What stupid shit are you doing right now?!?!?!" I'd lie being like uh nothing? She would be don't bullshit me! Bitch you can't fucking leave me! I'm going to drive to your house and kick your ass! I'm now 34 and so glad that I'm still here.

I have really enjoyed your passion watching these videos of FFDP!!! You have just scratched the surface to their depth!!! You are a great dude and I honestly would pay to take you to your first FFDP concert!!! They are amazing individuals on their own, but as a band they touch feelings that are difficult to voice!!! You will not be disappointed in your further research on them!!! And yes, I am a proud Army veteran who is a two time survivor of suicide!!! No shame in my game!!!

This song serious hits me so fucking hard. My oldest attempted to commit suicide at the end of January. She in turn blamed me for saving her and getting her to the hospital. Now, she wants nothing to do with me; she's 15. I hold everything inside because I know if I let any of it out, I will end up in the hospital and possibly in a padded room.
