    I LOVE the Martha Stewart letter mould. For my turrets, I go to the hardware store, buy plastic piping.. Like a couple of dollars for three metres. Get them to cut it into smaller lengths, take it home, boil it and clean it. Then cover in gum paste. So solid. I've even put chocolate coating inside them and filled with lollies. Kids love it when they lift a turret and all the lollies fall out!
    Beautiful cake 😊

      That is such a great idea. Never thought of putting in surprise candy... totally gonna do that for the next castle cake.
      Thanks so very much! :)

    Martha Stewart still has a ton of stuff at Michael's, on every isle...I was just there yesterday. She had an isle in party supply, she always has tools in paper craft, and she of course has stuff in cake decorating, where she started out! I think it's just more to do with what people want and people seem to think Wilton is it these days but MS has always had the good stuff too.

    Did you make the turrets out of toilet paper and paper towel rolls?? 🧐🤔

    • @JalenaSimspon
      @JalenaSimspon  6 років тому

      I use paper towel rolls. Bought a bunch of paper towels from the $1 store and unrolled them. For top of the towers I used ice cream cones.
